*Forever December*
*Chapter 3*
"Come on, April! Please, Please, Please, Please, PLEASE!" I squealed, shaking my sister over and over again. She groaned, pushing me off of her.
"All right! I'll let you borrow it. If you get one scratch on my baby, you're a dead woman, got it Dee?" I nodded quickly and held my hand out for her keys. I was excited for my date tonight. Roxin and I both had one. I was going to pick him up and drop him off at Columbia's, but first...I needed April's car.
She dropped the keys into my hand hesitantly and looked around for a moment. She threw her legs onto the couch, hitting Evyn right in the wrong tables. "Damn it, April!" He yelled, grabbing himself. I grinned. We Turk sisters were all about hitting guys in that place. It was just one of those things you love to do.
"It's not my fault that you're in my way," April's eyes rolled.
"Chris! Your kid's abusing me!" I giggled and spun towards the door, straightening my short, jean skirt and pulling up my spaghetti strapped, blue tank top.
"April, stop hurting your uncle!"
"But, mom! He started it!"
I left the house to the sound of my Uncle and my sister bickering at each other, as they always did. I couldn't say that I hated my life, because I couldn't have loved it more. 4.0 grade average, the best friend in the world, and the best sister a girl could have. Yep, this was the life.
I hopped into the blue Mustang and pulled the door shut quickly before starting it. Unlike my sister, I was a safe driver. I hooked my seat belt and started off towards Roxin's house. It only took two or three minutes to get there. Roxin's house was a small, white house with green shutters. I honked the horn and watched him scramble out.
I ran my fingers through my dark red hair to fluff it a bit. I'd curled it and put a dark blue bow in my hair to match my shirt. I had on a pair of black stilettos splattered with silver sparkles. I may have been taking this date a little too seriously...But there was something about Parker that made my blood boil.
I stopped in front of Columbia's house and threw Roxin a smile. He was wearing a new red hoody and jeans. "See ya later, Blondie," I stuck my tongue out at the boy. He blushed and pushed the door open, walking towards Columbia's house. He had a bouquet of flowers in his right hand.
Roxin waved me a 'Good-Bye," and went into the house, hugging the girl that came out. I smiled and pressed on the gas, riding towards the house we'd been at last night. I grinned as my favorite song came on. "There's a place downtown where the freaks all come around!" I sang, turning the radio up.
I soon pulled up in front of Parker's house. I blushed and turned the car off, making sure to stuff my phone in one pocket, and the keys to the car into my other. I got out of the car right as Parker walked out of the house. He whistled as he made his way towards me. I tugged down the bottom of my dress and blushed.
