*Forever December*
*Chapter 10*
~Roxin's P.O.V.~
I stared at December for a moment. Her eyes met mine, and I could feel myself melting. This was the moment that I had been waiting for for years and years. Then, I noticed that this wasn't actually what I'd been waiting for. I spun around and walked out of the cafeteria quickly.
"Roxin!" I heard her yell from behind me. She grasped onto my arm after I landed outside of the doorway. She looked up at me with pleading eyes. December entwined her fingers with mine and continued to stare at me.
"Please...Just let go. I can't do this, Dee. I just c-"
I was cut off my the touch of December's lips to mine. I shivered as her larger stomach pressed against mine. My arms automatically slipped around her waist, pulling her as close as possible to me. Her arms wrapped around my neck as our tongues fought against one another. I groaned and pulled away, turning a deep shade of red. "Dee...."
"Oh, shut up, Roxin," she pleaded, grasping onto my arm. "I've been so stupid. I...I don't know how I...." She trailed off as her thumb ran along the top of my hand, slowly. My heart nearly jumped out of my chest. It pounded roughly against my chest, time after time.
"December, you don't want me." I whispered. I had a feeling that she just needed someone besides me, although I wanted to hold her and tell her it was all right.
"Roxin...Please don't push me away," she whispered. Something was wrong. Just out of the blue...she kisses me and wants me? What the hell was this about?
"Why is it that you just suddenly like me, huh?"
December stopped for a moment and let her eyes drop to the ground. She didn't answer. That was all I needed for an answer from her. I ran my fingers along her cheek slowly, and kissed the top of her head before turning, "I love you, December, and I always will."
~Parker's P.O.V.~
Brandie snorted and took a seat beside me. I hissed under my breath, running my fingers through my dirty blonde hair. That was supposed to be my girl. She wasn't his. And December had kissed that dweeb. Where the fuck did I go wrong?
"Baby, let's go to my house tonight," Brandie's lips ran along my ear, "I have a treat for you." Her breath made me shiver. It smelled of mints mostly. I shivered and turned my head, pressing my forehead against hers. She made me go wild, but she wasn't the one I wanted.
It scared the crap out of me that I'd gotten Dee pregnant. I didn't know how to be a father. What was I supposed to tell my parents? 'Hey, mom, I got my girlfriend pregnant. Can I have some money so I can go learn how to take care of the kid?' That wasn't going to work.
"I'm not in the mood," I mumbled to Brandie as she moved in to kiss me. I knew what she was. She was a slut, and I didn't want to be with something like that. I loved December. It was true. Or, the closest thing to love there was. I didn't really know what love was, but I was finding out.
I pushed away from the table as the bell rang. I had to find her. I had to tell her how I felt, and that I was scared. I hadn't meant to hurt her feelings, or call the baby such...a name. I just didn't know what to do. Was I even going to be a good father to the baby?
Then I spotted her. She was leaning against her locker, her hands over her face. Her auburn hair was flowing perfectly over her face as she attempted to quiet her sobs of remorse. I could hear her, though.
I walked towards her until I was standing in front of her. "Dee..." I whispered, as she removed her hands. She pushed at my chest with all of her strength. "Stop it, please. Just listen to me, baby."
December's tears continued to come faster and faster. "No! Get away from me! I..I hate you...." I didn't. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her tightly to my chest until I could feel her baby bump on me. I ran my fingers through her beautiful hair and shushed her lovingly.
"I love you, Dee. I'm sorry I was such a dick to you. I...I was just scared." I laid my head on hers as the bell rang once more. I didn't care if she was late to class. We needed to talk. "I want to be a father to this baby. Please, Dee, please!" I plead loudly.
December raised her face, letting her eyes lock with mine. I ran my fingers along her cheek slowly. She didn't say anything at all. Her arms wrapped around my neck and pulled herself closer to him. Her lips smacked to mine and moved up and down.
"I love you," I breathed against her lips. December let her eyes close and tangled her fingers in my hair, breathing back her love. I couldn't go without her. I couldn't believe I'd called her such names. Why was I such...an idiot?
"What the fuck!" I heard a deep voice call. I pulled away from December and looked over to see the guy that was usually with Dee. What was his name....
"Roxin!" Yeah...that's it. December looked at him with utter horror. "I...."
"See, I was right. You two deserve each other." He mumbled, and walked away. December ran after him. I stared after her for a moment in disbelief. Was I in first place, or last?
