*Forever December*
*Chapter 12*
"December! Up and Adam, madam! It's Christmas!" I groaned and turned over, cracking an eye open to see April grinning at me. She shook me rapidly, screaming in my ear. "Get your big ass up!"
My eyes widened as she touched my stomach. "Out of my way!" I yelled in a deep voice, running to the toilet and throwing up, for the first time of the say. It wasn't going to be the last. I knew that. This baby was kicking like we were in a boxing ring. He wasn't giving up.
I'd found out I was having a baby boy. I'd already fell in love with him. I'd never had a close bond with someone. I was lucky to be having suck a beautiful baby. I wondered what he'd look like. Would he have my hair, and Parker's eyes? Or would he look just like his father? Would he looked just like me? I was so anxious to find out.
"Evyn! Don't you dare you little bastard!" I heard April scream. There was a crash as I walked down the stairs, my hand on my large stomach. I ran my fingers up and down it, giggling as the baby bumped roughly against my hand. When I stepped onto the floor, I saw him.
Roxin was sitting in the recliner in the living room, laughing at April as she and Evyn messed around on the floor. He looked up as he saw me coming and smiled. I smiled back, feeling my cheeks heat. "Merry Christmas, beautiful," he whispered before planting a kiss on my lips. I blushed a deeper red and smiled from ear to ear.
"Merry Christmas." Roxin's arms were warm. I kissed his chest gently before opening my eyes once more. This was going to be a wonderful day, I knew it.
My mother and father walked down the stairs. "For God sakes, April, get off of Evyn." April groaned and poked her lip out, "but Ma, he tried to open my present!"
"Evyn...."
"Oh, come on Chris! Would I really do that?" He grinned at my mother.
"Yes, you would. No one opens presents until we all get seated. Let's open them before your father has to go to work."
We all nodded and took seats. I sat on the ground with Roxin, April on her couch, and Evyn attempting to steal a seat, though he failed. My mother sat in the recliner, and my father on the arm of the chair.
"Open this one first, Dee," my mother smiled, handing me a small package. I giggled softly and ignored all of the other presents. I tore open the package and grinned at what I found in the box. A small, blue baby outfit, with a hood. The hood was too cute. It had small ears on it, to make the baby look like a bear.
"Thank you, mom, dad!" I squealed. Roxin smiled at the outfit and kissed the top of my head as he handed me a gift as well. My mother passed out Evyn and April's and my father's gifts. I had one from everyone. I felt so special, and guilty that I hadn't thought enough to get everyone something.
