*Chapter 6*

It was weird at school on Monday morning. I walked in with Parker; he'd drove me to school. Everyone stared at me, as we walked hand-in-hand down the hallway to our lockers. It made me nervous. Every time I turned, someone was looking at me.

I pecked Parker on the lips before heading to first period. Roxin had already gotten there. I couldn't wait to tell him everything. "Rox!" I squealed, taking my usual seat in front of him. I spun around with a huge grin. "I can't believe it! He's so wonderful, Roxy. Last night we-"

"Do I want to know?" Roxin raised an eyebrow, flipping his pencil back and forth like a teeter-totter. I sighed.

"I guess not."

"Turn around, Miss Turk!" Mr. Sarah yelled, smacking his fist on the desk at the exact moment the bell rang. "When the bell chines, I expect you to be on times. On time means in your seats, turned around, looking me right," he pointed towards himself, "in the eyes!"

I giggled. Mr. Sarah was truly crazy. He could make anyone laugh from his 'seriousness.'

Lunch came quickly. I was lucky to have the same lunch hour as Parker. I usually sat with Roxin, but today I didn't.

I took a seat next to Parker. All the rest of the football team was sitting next and across from him. They cheerleaders were at the table behind us, and most of the Football player's girlfriends were in the same group, if they weren't cheerleaders.

"December, this is Jacob," Parker named each person from our side to the other, "Kameron, Lloyd, Francis, Damon, George, Courtney, Darius, Henry....and more." I laughed softly and nodded towards them all. "Guys, this is my new girl, December Turk." The guys nodded towards me and winked, then went back to their lunches. They are like hungry bears, which made me cringe.

The talk about the new girl at the table spread from the football table to the cheerleaders' table. "Brandie! Are you going to stand for this girl all over your guy?" I guess these girls thought I couldn't hear them, but of course I could.

"She's got nothing on me. Look at me." I smirked and tugged Parker's arm around me. He grinned and leaned down, pausing for a moment. His eyes wandered and I followed them to Brandie. We both smiled and smacked our lips together.

"Parker," I mumbled into his mouth. His tongue extended into my mouth and danced around mine. The people at both tables were watching us - most with tilted heads. I could see Roxin out of the corner of my eyes. He looked pale and down.

I pulled back from Parker, throwing a wink at Brandie as her mouth hung open. "FYI bitch, it's you that has nothing on me." I sent her a wink as the bell sounded. I'd only touched my soda, which was half empty.
