*Forever December*
*Chapter 15: I'm Getting rid of the thing*
I had to go to school the next day, which wasn't exactly what I wanted to be doing. Going to school meant that I had to see Parker. If I saw him, I knew that the first thing I would do was scream at him and tell him how it was his responsibility to take care of his kids. Our responsibility.
I walked into the school, holding onto Roxin's hand. We walked down the hallway slowly, catching many eyes. People whispered and giggled around us, but I didn't mind. All I could think about were Rian and Rowan. I hoped they were all right. Did they have enough milk?
"Stop thinking so much, Dee. They'll be fine," Roxin kissed the top of my head. I nodded as we came to my locker. I opened slowly, and looked inside. It was the same as I'd left it. Clean as could be. I sighed in content and placed my book bag into the locker.
I was happy when I went to first period and didn't see Parker anywhere. It's not like I was looking for him...or maybe I was.
I hummed and leaned back in my chair. Nothing was going the way I'd planned. Where was Parker? I had a feeling that he was avoiding me for a reason. If he didn't want Rian and Rowan, I did. They'd grow up with a wonderful mother. I hoped I'd be that person.
"Misses Turk! Just because you were gone for a while does not mean that you can doze off." I jumped and looked up, blushing.
"I'm sorry, sir. I was just thinking about-"
"I don't care!" And the man went to ranting on about how children shouldn't have kids so young.
I scoffed and crossed my arms, letting my eyes grasp to the ground. Sing for joy.
"You all are children. Yes! Children! You don't have the bodies to produce healthy children. You're more likely to have a miscarriage if you have children when you're only Children!"
"Excuse me! Sir!" Mr. Patterson turned around and looked at me.
"I'm sorry, do you have something to say?"
"Yes, I do," I glanced at Roxin who shook his head. "I had my twins six weeks ago, and they're healthy as can be. I think you're wrong."
"Ah, so you think that I'm wrong, huh?" I nodded, "Office! Now!"
"But-"
"Now!"

"Hurry up! Get in, we don't have all day, Dee!" April yelled from the car. Roxin had something to do after school, so he wasn't going with me to see the twins. My heart pounded as I hopped in, closing the door behind me.
"Drive faster. I want to see them!" I squealed, looking at April. I shouldn't have said that, because her foot shoved into the gas peddle and we zoomed forward. I closed my eyes and attempted not to get sick.
We soon arrived before the hospital. It didn't take me long to pop out of the car and skip towards the doors. I entered the hospital and took the elevator up to the third level where they kept my babies.
"Name?"
"December Turk. I'm here to see my twins," I smiled at the receptionist, whose eyes widened.
"Um...This way, ma'am." She beckoned towards the room, and I followed her. We entered the room, and my eyes lit up seeing my twins. Rian was crying as usual. Rowan was curled up in his cart, asleep.
"Hey baby girl," I whispered, picking up my black haired baby girl. Rian immediately stopped crying. I cooed her, rocking her back and forth. "How's my little girl today? Hmm?" Her blue eyes blinked a few times as she reached up towards me.
"Why can't you move that fast when we're leaving for school? We'd get there like five hours early!" April mumbled, stalking into the room.
She walked towards Rowan, who was just opening his eyes. "I'd rather not," April said as the baby reached towards her. "My niece and nephew hate me." She pouted, looking down at my boy.
"Ma'am, how long is it until we can take them home?" I asked the nurse.
"A month and two weeks," the woman spoke. I nodded.
It was different without Parker next to me, holding Rowan. I missed it. In truth, I missed him.

*Parker's P.O.V.*
Brandie sat down in my lap, wrapping her arms around my neck. "Let's go have some fun." She whispered into my ear. It was odd. I didn't want anything to do with her. I didn't even want her to touch me.
"No. Let's just talk. How was your day?" I asked, running my fingers through her hair.
Brandie pushed me away and stood to her feet, her face unforgettable with disgust. "What the hell is wrong with you, Parker? You're different," she paused, "I'm pregnant."
"What!?" I yelled, standing to my feet. Oh great, this was just what I needed.
"It's not yours, so don't worry. I'm getting rid of the thing."
