"FOCUS on your target and forget everything around it."

All my life, my father trained me to be an archer and never fails to remind me of those words. While other girls of my age grew up playing with their dolls, I grew up playing with my bow and arrows and also had training for Taekwondo and Gymnastics. My father firmly believed that the skills I'm trying to learn at a very young age will become handy when I grow up.

Back then, I never really got to understand why my father kept on training me. I wanted to experience what normal girls are experiencing on that age but my father won't allow me. I wanted to experience being a princess, to wear beautiful gowns, and to wear beautiful shoes. But I never had the chance. Not even once.

"Glozelle, prepare your weapons. We'll be out of town," my father announced with a serious tone.

"Honey, isn't that too much? It's not like your daughter will be a warrior. She's supposedly enjoying her life with her friends and not doing things a man should do," my mother tried to argue.

I laughed when I heard what she said. Who told her I have friends? I never had the time to make friends. My father forbid it. He told me friends would just either be an excess baggage or a collateral damage when tough situation comes. I never argued with that matter. I don't have free time to hangout with them anyway.

I went to my room and prepared my backpack. Inside my backpack are the things I'll be needing for today's training. I know my father won't be easy with me. he makes me suffer as much as he can every single day to prepare me. I don't even know why I need to be prepared. Who the hell in the world will train his seventeen year old daughter? It's not like we are in danger since the pack protecting us is already strong enough.

"No, please, no!"

I was alarmed when I heard my mother screaming in distress from downstairs and was followed by three gunshots. I immediately reached for my bow and arrows and carefully got out from my room and started observing the whole place.

When the coast is clear, I went downstairs to check on my parents. I was about to go to the kitchen when I saw my parents covered with blood on the floor. I immediately went near them to wake them up.

"Dad! Mom! Wake up!"

I was trembling when I found out they are already dead. I was staring at their lifeless body while trying to figure out who's responsible for their death. If only I am here...

I opened my eyes and tried to calm myself when I remembered that scene from three years ago. Until now, I still don't have any idea who killed my parents but one thing's for sure. I'll make them pay. I will not forgive them for what they've done.
