AEGEAN HALE
DURING the night I spent with Glozelle, everything felt right. Everything was going well and we felt a deeper connection that's binding the two of us. It is something we cannot ignore or try to undo. We were meant to be together and it resulted in receiving our power. I only watch this in movies before, I didn't know it was going to happen to me.
"Glozelle, wake up..." I whispered in her ears.
She pulled the blanket up and covered half of her body until the stomach. She then pinned herself to me even more and remained sleeping. It's seven-thirty and our training will start at nine o'clock.
Ever since that scene in the waterfalls happened, we became more inseparable. I always sleep in Glozelle's room and she always cling onto me everytime she sees me. But that attachment she developed with me didn't changed herself. She's still the same quiet, unaffable, and bitchy badass I've known. She kept herself and didn't change. I am really happy about that.
"I am just so lucky, am I not?" I said despite having no one to talk to.
I stared at her sleeping face. She looks peaceful and comfortable being with me. But despite that, she remains independent and strong even when she is alone. She may be stronger when we are fighting together but I know she can handle herself really well. She's been trained her whole life and it's no surprise she is that strong.
"Stop staring at me and stop talking to yourself. You're giving me an impression that you are crazy."
Glozelle's voice was husky, an indication that she just woke up. Her sharp eyes were staring at me with an annoyed face.
"Good morning, Glozelle."
"It's so early, why the hell are you waking me up this early?"
"We got training to do, remember? Of course we need to condition our bodies first before we go there."
"Oh... yeah, shit."
She stood up and stared at me for a while before finally going outside to prepare herself. I chuckled and followed her outside, too. Our team are already settled in the dining room, waiting for us.
"Good morning, love birds!" Cnidus greeted, mocking me.
"I wonder what those two did when they were gone late night the other night?" Blake joined the conversation, also mocking.
I didn't bother replying and just went to the sink to wash my face. Glozelle just came out from the bathroom and went straight to the dining room. She occupied her usual seat which is next to mine. After washing my face, I went back to the table and settled in to finally eat some breakfast.
"Before we go in the training area, let's do our warm up exercises thirty minutes after we eat. I was informed that we are going to train with the others later," I said as I take a huge chunk of the sausage.
"I hope we can have a time for each other wherein we just spend our time playing around and splashing water in our faces without worrying about attacks. Maybe we could have a day at the beach or even just in a lake," Pyhrra said out of nowhere.
"I hope so, too. I don't remember the last time I had that kind of rest. I don't want to be given a time to rest because I'm wounded. I want to be given a time to rest that would totally just be a time for vacation!" Blake added.
"Well, you could have that."
We all shifted our gaze when Amoux suddenly spoke. We didn't even noticed he entered the cabin. This man is really an expert in sneaking around.
