GLOZELLE COLLINS

PREPARATIONS and training were lined up for the last day. It is the thirteenth day of June and at five in the morning, we are all gathered in the training room doing our warm up exercises. We started quite early today.

Yesterday when we got home from Pyhrra's funeral, we went straight to the training room to prepare our bodies and train until midnight. After five hours, we are here again, preparing for another set of intense physical activities.

"Hey, Glozelle!" Aegean called.

I averted my gaze and stared at Aegean as he stood in front of me. We haven't had any serious talk since Pyhrra died and we fought each other in training. We are too busy getting ourselves better and stronger for the past few days. Our rage is getting stronger and it is so heavy in the heart to know that one of our colleagues is really gone.

"What?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You're becoming a bitch again," he replied, smirking.

"I know that!"

"But seriously, I just want to remind you that you're not allowed to die tomorrow. Whatever happens, do whatever you can to survive."

His reaction turned from mocking to seriousness. He stared straight at my eyes as he say those words. I nodded and replied.

"I won't die, don't worry."

"Come on, let's train hard for tomorrow."

"Tomorrow, we will win. For everyone's safety, we will make this happen."

We both picked up our weapons and started the day with physical activities. Honestly speaking, what we do is draining. We repeatedly have to use our weapons and powers the whole day. Both requires our energy to be done and in that case, our body's fullest capacity needs to be used at all times.

"Alright, let's do this!" Aegean announced as he summon the lightning and hold his shield tight.

I've been trying to master a specific defense technique since last week. I just discovered that I could manipulate my weapons using lightning so that is what I've been dealing with. What I did last week when I was having a combat with Aegean was not part of my plan. It just happened that I thought it's worth a try and I succeeded.

"I don't intend to get killed today, Glozelle. So don't attack me with your arrows!" Aegean reminded as he saw me starting to let my arrows fly.

"I won't."

After the first session of our training for today, we were called by the people in weaponry department to thoroughly check on the weapons for tomorrow. The whole Black Hole is the first to be called in the weapon room. As part of the front liners, we were given priority in acquiring extra weapons to be used. After checking on ours, they would be calling Black Mist to check on theirs.

"Miss Glozelle, could you please check if these daggers and guns are fine based from your quality standard?" a middle aged woman asked as she point out a direction that leads to a table with weapons on top of it.

I personally resquested for daggers made up from materials that are conductors of electricity in order for me to use it in some of the skills I'm trying to learn with my power. Each one of us that are part of the frontline were asked about additional weapons that we would be needing. Since they said we could ask for anything, I asked them to craft new daggers for me.
