23rd Star: A Powerful Gesture

DESPITE the struggle and really having a hard time fighting with him, I did not back off. I want him back. I want my Aegean Hale back and I will do whatever it takes to get him back. Even if it means getting myself hurt.

"You won't get him back even if you try everything, Glozelle. He's under my unbreakable spell and you will never get him."

I almost stumbled once again when three people entered the picture. They're floating in the air, their hands are suspended in the air as if having a specific motion to maintain all three of them in flying. The woman was in the middle and the men are just behind her, as if protecting and supporting her. They are wearing primary colors like a costume. The woman in the middle was in red battle suit, while the man on her left was in blue, and the other one on her right was in yellow.

I stared at her intently and let Blake and Amoux handle Aegean for a while. It was her—it's Zenith and she's with Raenn and Keirro. Even though I know that I won't stand a chance against the three of them, I still had the guts to try and fire my arrows to them. They quickly dodged my arrows off and managed to destroy them.

"You're a brave one but you can't kill me using only that useless weapon. You need power! A power like this!" she smirked.

Zenith shifted her gaze and focused her eyes on Aegean. She then moved her hand, creating a red smoke that went directly to Aegean. She laughed after doing that. I gritted my teeth and once again hanged my bow on my shoulder and made sure to have a very tight grip on my daggers.

"Attack her!" she commanded.

Aegean immediately started to attack me once again. Even if he's hurting because Blake and Amoux are both preventing him to went closer to me, he never gave a fuck about it. It's like he doesn't care about it and he doesn't mind getting hurt as long as he can lay his hands on me.

I may not like what is happening right now but I would not back off. I will fight him and hurt him if I have to. I know and I've heard that the spell she casted upon Aegean is unbreakable but I don't care. If they are thinking that I'm going to back off because of the shits they're showing me right now, then I'll prove them wrong. I'm already facing the people responsible for my parents' death and I won't back off just because of what they are showing to me. I am not scared.

"The fuck, Aegean! Stop this!" Amoux grunts, as he continue to punch Aegean who is still trying to attack me.

"Let him be, Amoux. Let him fight me!" I said with confidence.

"But, Glozelle! You know what he can do to you! We can't let him hurt you!"

"I can handle myself, Amoux. Let him be."

Amoux and Blake seems to understand what I'm trying to do so they let him pass. As soon as he got away from the two men, he started to attack me. I actually don't have a clear plan on how will I take him down. What I have is courage, guts, and faith that he will see me through.

"Aegean, listen to me you asshole!" I shouted.

He still didn't seem to recognize me and just started punching me in the stomach. I tried defending myself and avoiding his attacks but he's just too strong that whenever I try to hit him, I get hurt even more. But I chose this and I will stick with that decision.

"Aegean freaking Hale!"

"He can't hear or recognize you, Queen Archer!" Zenith said, mocking at me.

"Whatever you did to him, I will make sure to get him back. Even if you tell me how many times that your fucking spell is unbreakable, I won't lose faith in him. Screw you, Zenith!"
