GLOZELLE COLLINS
AEGEAN didn't allow me to be alone even if I am only here in the cabin for the past few days. It's been six days since we received that death threat and our colleagues are already aware of it. Aegean makes sure that I at least have one colleague with me at all times.
I feel like I'm the one who's been injured now. He even sleeps in my room just to be sure that no one can lay their hands on me. Now instead of me that's supposedly taking care of him, he's the one taking care of me now.
Well, at least his wound already dried up and the medical department really succeeded in doing something to let the healing process be faster. Even Cnidus is back in the cabin and just like what they did to Aegean, they also made sure Cnidus would heal quickly in no time.
Currently, we are all in the living room having some snacks and the four of them are talking about random stuffs while playing a card game while me on the other hand focuses on eating my burger. Cnidus is sitting on a solo couch and in between Pyrrha and Blake who are both on the floor. On Pyhrra's right is me and beside me is Aegean sitting on the huge couch. We're all circled around the table since our food, drinks, and the card game are placed on top of it.
From time to time, I can see Aegean taking quick glances at me as if I'm a kid who will be abducted in case he lose sight of me. Looks like Cnidus noticed that too so he started questioning and teasing us again.
"Okay, so what happened here while I was away?" he asked, smirking.
"Well, I heard there has been a confession!" Pyhrra answered, also smirking.
"Wow, finally!"
I rolled my eyes and just kept on eating my burger. I didn't bother to talk or argue with them because even if I try to, that is what really happened. Me and Aegean really had a confession time with each other. It is something I couldn't and wouldn't like to deny.
"But I also heard that our Sire Philip here received a death threat that involves our Queen Archer that's why he's being so protective as of the moment!" Blake butted in, also joining the conversation.
"What the fuck?" Cnidus reacted as a crease form in his forehead.
"I think they're just trying to make us back off but we won't do that. This is actually the reason why we all the more need to fight them."
"Blake is right. If they think some sort of death threat will stop us from facing them and resisting, well, then shame on them. We won't back out!" Pyhrra said as she roll her eyes.
Cnidus nodded and said, "Right!"
Me and Aegean just remained silent as we continue to do whatever the hell we'd like to do. I keep myself busy with my food and he keep himself busy with the card game they are playing. They actually offered me to join them but I don't feel like playing and talking. I just want to eat a lot today.
"Glozelle..." Aegean whispered.
I averted my gaze and raised an eyebrow as I was trying to ask him what is his problem just by looking at him. He smiled at me and took a huge bite on my burger. I hit him hard on his chest which made him yelp.
"Damn it, Aegean! Can't you get your own burger?" I yelled, feeling really irritated.
"I just took a bite. Why are you so mad?" he asked, smirking.
"It's my food not yours!"
"It's just one bite! Don't be mad at me!"
"Whatever, asshole!"
