AEGEAN HALE
YESTERDAY was a great day for our training and both teams learned to handle the things that we were lacking for the past few months that we've been working. Surprisingly, Black Hole and Black Mist get along really well. It is our first official meeting and we are thrilled to have that intense training yesterday.
Today, we are up for the vacation my team has been wanting to have. It's six in the morning and we're all in the living room preparing for our food. Even Amoux is already here and helping the women in preparing our food for the whole day. We all agreed last night that we are going to a beach in Sauterton. Pyhrra knows a lot of beaches in that city so she would be our tour guide for the whole day.
"Are we going to use my car?" Glozelle asked, sitting on her usual chair in the dining room as the others continue to prepare what we need.
"Yes, I'm driving it. Blake would be joining us while the others would be on Amoux's car. They would go first since Pyhrra would be the one to tell us the direction to the beach."
This is my first time to go to Sauterton. I've spent my life in Ecrivain and sometimes I'm in Hakebourńe but I did not go to Sauterton. It always doesn't feel right to be there. It just reminds me of my tragic experience as a child. I still blame them for what happened to my family. It is because of the Sauterton's pack that I lost my family and I grew up in other's jurisdiction.
"You seem unexcited in going," she commented.
"I just feel uncomfortable with that place. It brings back the horror of my life."
"This could be a good thing for you though. This might help you in overcoming your past."
"I hope so."
She held my hand and smiled at me, making me feel assured that everything will be alright. I lifted her hand and planted a kiss on it then smiled at her too. She's really becoming soft and I love it. It makes me fall for her even more.
"I love you," I said, still holding her hand.
"I love you, too."
"Alright, that's enough! Let's go!" Amoux cleared his throat and stood up.
We all grabbed our backpack and went outside, too. We all didn't bother bringing any of our weapons. We agreed about that last night. Today would just be about having fun and resting our minds and bodies. We all deserve to have this, don't we?
Glozelle took the shotgun seat while Blake is on the back seat. We are all quiet as I start the engine and drive away. I know Glozelle won't be opening a conversation and will just spend her time staring at the window until we reach our destination. Blake on the other hand would also not talk unless someone speak to him.
I sighed. I have silent passengers and it's sort of adding more anxiety to me. I don't mind this trip being noisy. In that way, I won't be thinking and worrying about what may happen today if someone's at least talking to me. It will make me focus on driving even more. The question is what could I do to have at least a little noise?
"What's your problem?" Glozelle asked, raising an eyebrow.
She seems to noticed my dilemma so she started asking me and it's a good thing she asked. I am more than complacent that she still cares even if she seem to be busy with staring at the window. Glozelle paying attention makes me feel at ease.
"I'm fine!" I replied with a smile.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah!"
An hour passed and we're still on the road to Sauterton. What's taking this trip for so long? I badly want to get off of this car and finally hear the noisy surroundings. Having this silence causes me to overthink even more and I hate it. I fucking hate it.
