GLOZELLE COLLINS
AEGEAN is staring at me with seriousness in his eyes. I guess they won't stop pestering me unless I decide to give them what they want. But do I really need to do this? Will this benefit me?
"Why are you so persistent in making me a part of your group?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Because we need you and I know that you need us," Aegean answered, still seriously staring at me.
"How are you so sure about that? I never said that I need you or your help."
I smirked, an eyebrow is still raised. Measuring all the odds and danger I might face in the future, it seems like joining them is actually a good idea. I need them, they need me. We'll both have benefits in this offer they kept on pestering me about. It's already a yes for me but I would like to piss them off even more.
"Glozelle, please..." Amoux said.
"Fine!"
I rolled my eyes and remained my eyebrow being raised. I'll just join their group. Being a part of them doesn't mean changing myself. I am not a people pleaser so they can hate me all they want for having this kind of attitude but I don't care. I didn't want to be with them in the first place, I just reconsidered since the situation is getting worse and more dangerous.
"Why do I need to join you in the first place?" I asked.
"This is getting more dangerous, we need all the help we could get." Cnidus answered.
I shifted my gaze and stared at him. I don't usually hear him and Blake talking. Aegean is always the person who seems to have a lot to talk about and if Amoux is with them, Amoux is also so noisy. This is the first time I heard Cnidus talk today. So much for respect and leadership, huh? They seem to really listen to Aegean or Amoux to decide for their group.
"Cnidus is right. This isn't about the alpha commanding us to recruit you anymore. After finding out about many other information about the attacks and some events that happened in the past, we are convinced this is more than a normal attack. This is getting more dangerous!" Blake added.
They all seem to be so serious about this matter. Hearing these two voiceless members speaking and convincing me now really makes me want to do it and to be part of them. This is for the best, right? We all have the same enemy so I can trust them with this, I guess?
"When will we start the training, then?" I asked.
They all stared at me as if they can't believe what I just said. Amoux and Aegean even looked at each other as if asking each other if they heard me right.
"Right now!" Aegean answered.
"Alright, we can train upstairs. My training room is quite huge, I think we can all fit in and maximize the space. Would you like some pizza for snacks or something?"
"Don't worry about the food, we're the ones who disturbed you here. We'll deal with the food. Cnidus, you already know what to do!" Aegean commanded.
"I'm on it!" Cnidus answered showing us a thumbs-up.
"Come on, follow me."
I grabbed my bow and quiver placed on top of the table and lead the way to the training room located at the left side on the second floor. They're all silently following me. I think we will start with the guns today since that's all I have that can be used by everyone. My dad don't usually buy a lot of weapons since it's only the two of us. Guns are the only ones available for now. I think we have at least twelve since my father is a collector and a retired army.
