AEGEAN HALE
YESTERDAY was sick. Blake was shot and currently recovering at the moment. Due to what happened yesterday, we are being summoned to the Alpha's Lounge for a meeting later this evening. For now, we are all taking a rest to cool down from the combat.
"How are you feeling, Blake?" I heard Pyhrra asking as she place our food on the table.
I'm suprised Pyhrra and Glozelle seems to be getting along already. We were just almost an hour away yesterday before I called backup. That was quick. Seems like they talked about it already. They even prepared our lunch for today.
They're both setting up our table as the three of us deal with some wounds and bruises we got from yesterday. These women are good company when it comes to these matters. I am still surprised Glozelle is actually preparing our food.
By preparing, what I meant was they cooked. I know Glozelle. She's used to buying and ordering food but today it's different. She really made effort in cooking the food we're about to eat.
"What the hell is your problem, Aegean?" Glozelle asked with an annoyed face. I didn't even realized I was already staring at her for so long.
"Nothing, I'm surprised you decided to cook. I know you've been living your life through food deliveries," I smirked.
"You know what? You talk a lot!"
"And you easily get annoyed."
"Shut up."
She rolled her eyes and just continued to set up the table. I stood up and decided to help her with it but she once again made face.
"Just let me do this alone, Aegean. Why the hell do you keep on pissing me off?" she asked, glaring at me.
"No particular reason. I just want to see your annoyed face!" I chuckled.
"Fuck you!"
I kept on annoying her until they finally called us to eat. I took the spot next to Glozelle, which she couldn't argue anymore because all the seats are occupied already. She just rolled her eyes and started eating. We are all quiet while eating but it's peaceful quiet and I can say we're all comfortable with the presence of each other at the moment.
"What should we expect from the meeting this evening?" Pyhrra asked, starting a serious conversation.
"Since we would be meeting the alphas later and this would be a very confidential matter, expect to hear information that would only be disseminated to us. This is to ensure that there would be no traitors among us. They are letting us lead this battle," I explained as I cut a small piece of my steak.
"How about our training? Are we still going to have sessions?" she asked once again.
"That would depend on what may happen for the next few days and on what we are going to find out later. We might have a very important matter to deal with and that is what we're going to prioritize. If we would be having some free time, then we could train."
"You're talking a lot again," Glozelle butted in, raising an eyebrow as she play with her fork.
"And you're starting to be a bitch again."
"Your life wouldn't be complete without arguing with each other everyday, huh? You guys are starting again!" Cnidus said, teasing us.
"I'm starting to think that they are both-" Blake tried to join the conversation and tease us as well but Glozelle and me shouted as a disagreement.
"Hell no!"
They all laughed while looking at our reaction when we said those two words. I sighed and just decided continue eating.
