29th Star: Lightning And Thunder

I PULLED the string and let my first three arrows hit the nearest poltroons within the vicinity. As soon as the arrow makes contact with their bodies, they died and fell into the ground. I smiled. I could just feel how rage is taking over my body and my mind. My movements are fast and destructive as I make sure to use my fullest capacity as much as possible.

I don't choose what and who I attack, it is too early for that. I just let my arrows fly and allow the lightning to take damage to whatever they reach. At least I know that I manage to take down some of them. I am not sure how long this might take before it ends but at least I know we are doing well.

Everyone is preoccupied and fighting, wanting to shed blood and win this fucking war. Who wouldn't want to win? This war will be written in all the history pages and it will be passed on from generation to generation. Being the victors means being able to succeed in assuring that everything that took place is for the greater good.

"Oh, no you don't!" I said when I saw a poltroon is about to attack Cnidus from behind as he is having a combat with one of the goons.

I threw one of the daggers to the poltroon which made it fall into the ground immediately after it got hit in the head. I then summoned the dagger back using lightning and smiled. Cnidus nodded at me as he continue to take down his enemy.

I could hear clearly how weapons are clinging and how blood is shedding. Everyone here are serious and giving their best shot in winning this war. To be honest, I still don't feel satisfied with what I am doing. I feel like I'm still reserving myself for something. And I know what that is.

I summoned the lightning and controlled the energy in my hands until I see how big it already formed. When I got satisfied, I then released it to the other party as I continue to float in the air as I look at them from above.

"Are you ready to die?"

I smirked when I heard that voice. Zenith followed me in the air as I continue to attack her monsters and warriors with lightning. She won't be able to make me feel intimidated anymore. I am not a kid who will feel scared of her threats, especially now that I possess something powerful that could end her.

"How about I ask you that question?" I asked back.

"Oh, dear. Lightning won't help you, I am more powerful than some sort of amateur who just acquired her powers. You lack everything that I have. Don't feel superior, Glozelle."

"I will kill you, I assure you that."

"Then, try me."

She formed the familiar red smoke in her hands while me on the other hand hanged my bow on my shoulder and started forming lightning in a spherical shape. It is too early for my tricks. Dealing with her like this is enough for now. The battle had just began.

Without any hesitation, I released the energy ball towards her direction which she counteracts with hers. The interaction between two unlike forces created an explosion in the air that made us both lose our balance. I was too quick to take that as an opportunity to throw a dagger towards her that created a long scar on her cheek.

"Damn you!" she cursed.

"Didn't you told me you will never let me lay hands on you? How is that?"

She got back at me by casting the same spell but this time, it was faster to go towards my direction. I did not manage to block it with mine, causing me to have burns in my arm which I used for blocking the energy she just released.

"Let me ask that question to you now. How is that? Sounds fair?" she asked, mocking at me.

I smirked and did not feel bothered at all. We are just both warming up and I can see that we are both competitive. We both have a goal and I am very sure that it is to kill each other. She tried to kill me using Aegean before but she did not succeeded. Now, it is her that will attempt to kill me. I won't let that happen because I am much more stronger now and based on what I am capable to do now, she is just strong and undefeated when she is with Keiro and Raenn. When she's alone, she is weak and defenseless. Typical superior leaders.
