AEGEAN HALE

DISCUSSION about the Poltroons continued as additional information are being disseminated. We've been trying to connect the dots and looking for something that may help us find out what is the reason behind all of these attacks happening.

Glozelle was quiet as she scan the information we have about the Poltroons. It seems like we can work together without having any argument. Blake and Cnidus were also checking on the photos and clips taken during our combat with the coyotes and poltroons, also trying to look for a pattern or whatever it is that could help us.

"Aegean, there was a theory that the coyotes have been drugged right? Don't you think the person responsible with the coyote attack is the same person responsible with the poltroons?" Blake asked without looking at me, his eyes still focused on the photos he is scanning.

"That is possible. Did you found something that leads to that conclusion?" I answered with a question.

"I'm still trying to verify it but I did find something. I won't show it yet, though. I need to verify it first."

I nodded, averted my gaze, and saw Glozelle still busy checking on the documents. This is the first time I got to see her closer and based on what I see, she is beautiful. Her crystal blonde mid-length hair and her eyes in the shade of ocean blue compliments her skin color. Her eyelashes are thick and long making her eyes look so pretty. Yeah, she is pretty but she is ill-tempered which makes her somewhat annoying.

"What do you want?" she asked when she noticed I'm looking at her.

"Nothing!"

"Then stop staring at me!"

I smirked and once again focused on the information provided to us. As I check the attached files, I can't stop thinking about how will I tell and convince Glozelle to join us. This won't be easy. She hates this place so she wouldn't want to keep on going back here.

"What the fuck is this?"

I shifted my gaze and looked at Glozelle again. She seems to be bothered about something she saw in the documents she is checking on. I went near her and checked on what she is looking at. I saw a photo of a coyote and a poltroon. What's with these photos? Why did she suddenly reacted that way?

"What's wrong?" I finally asked.

"This!"

She pointed out identical markings on the photos of a coyote's dead body and a poltroon's dead body. The marking is a blue crescent moon beside a blue star. There are also tiny fragments of the marking inside the moon and star. This is the first time I've seen this mark.

"Fuck!" Glozelle cursed.

"What's the matter?"

I can see in her eyes the same rage that I saw earlier when she realized we are in the pack's headquarters. I can't understand why she is acting like this. She is a complete mystery to me. She suddenly changes her mood and I don't know how to respond whenever that kind of situation is happening.

"Damn it!"

"What's the matter?" I asked again.

"Nothing you should care about!"

And there she goes again, a quick change on her mood. Even Blake and Cnidus attention were diverted because of her sudden change of mood.

"Is there any problem?" Blake asked.

"She found something."

"What?" Cnidus asked this time.

"This."
