Chapter 24
Aqua
Angel’s cool smooth hands brushed against the bare skin of the back of my shoulders as he brushed my hair aside and leaned in pressing his lips gently to the curve of my neck.
I sighed and closed my eyes leaning into him and rolling my neck slight forward baring more of my neck to him.
He slowly moved his hands down my back and untied and loosened the corset strings on the back of my dress.
I let the dress fall and pool around my ankles.
I turned around to face Angel.
Though his hands ran over my bare skin as if attempting to memorize the curves of my body, his eyes watched mine and never looked away.
I went up on my tip-toes and pressed my lips to his and then turned and dove into the water letting it swallow me whole. I felt the familiar wave-like motion of my tale and smiled. Then swam my way up to break the surface.
Angel was standing beside the pond. He had already taken off his jacket and tie and laid then on the rock he usually sat on. He was now unbuttoning his top to reveal his smooth, muscular pale chest that shown in the moonlight.
He laid on the grass beside edge of the water using his jacket as a pillow. He had kicked off his shoes and socks a while ago. He closed his eyes and let his shirt fall open allowing the moonlight to lay across his bare skin.
I swam up to him and rest my face against his hand that was closest to the water. Then I pulled myself further on to land and let my lips touch his cool smooth abdomen, then I laid my wet face and hair across his chest looking up at his peaceful face.
Without opening his eyes he moved his hand closest to the water and ran it through my hair. I closed my eyes and breathed in his wintery, woodsy smell.
Everything about him forced me into a completely calm state. I loved it . . . I loved him.
I opened my eyes and met his icy blue gaze. We didn’t speak. We didn’t need to . . . everything was placed between us in the single look.
I pushed myself up on my elbows and pressed my lips to Angel’s.
The hand that had already been tangled in my hair pressed my lips closer to his as he sat forward into me.
Our lips mashed together as our tongues tangled and our breath mixed in the small area between us.
Angel moved his other hand down my back until he reached the scales where my tail became my back.
I gasped and pulled away from the kiss.
“I’m sorry,” He breathed seeming just as shocked as I was, “Did I hurt you?”
“No, it feels good,” I admitted, “But doesn’t it . . . disgust you? I mean that I am part fish?” I looked away from him.
“No, Aqua, of course not . . . it’s the most beautiful part of you,” He smiled as I looked back to him.
I smiled back at him. He pressed his lips to mine, “I’ll join you.” He breathed and then stripped out of his pants and drove into the deep lake.
His head came up right beside me and he pulled me further into the water as he wrapped his arms around my bare waist just where my skin faded into scales.
I smiled at him and he again pressed his lips to mine. I moved my fingers through his long, dark, smooth hair.
He moved his hands up my bare back tangling his fingers in my long blond hair.
