Demise

XUI POV

I looked up to see the battle raging around me had long ended. Everyone  had witnessed me decapitate my kin, Even so I  felt nothing as their eyes held a mixture of awe and trepidation. Briskly I walked over and snatched his severd head in my grip. I stormed toward the building carrying it, ignoring the blood spilling from it as i walked. 

Everyone  followed wordlessly behind me. Immediately i spotted what had to be the ships the humans had built. they were sitting behind the facility in some sort of clear enclosure. I spotted my father towering over Leena snarling something at her through the transparent dwelling. Just the mere sight of her spurred the savage rage in me. It roared  through me, a heated forceful pulsating power. 

I ran charging ready to break that only thing separating me from my love. my  luviqa. A sharp LoQuan steel arrow whizzed pass me heading for the glass. It shattered on impact before i  reached it. I looked back seeing Keira smirking at me. I nodded at her in thanks but did not stop my running 

My father spun around panicked at the shattering sound. He met my gaze with all the arrogance born of a ruler, even as  I stormed through the new opening and chucked the head of my uncle  at his feet.

"RELEASE HER!!!!"  i bellowed far past  impatience. I was now near feral

He simply looked at me for a second before responding unhurriedly 

"I will do that if you agree to leave her forever, my son your place is by my side. with your people" 

My eyes met Leena' s and my heart splintered apart. She had dark swollen bruises along her delicate jaw. A deep gash ran across her forehead and several slashes on her arms. She stared at me with the same love and longing i held for her. I shook with the force of my fury. I had never felt such vicious need to kill, to maim as i felt this day.

"I will never"  i glared with disgust

He sighed " You have disappointed me my son. When she told me of your unnatural obsession. i was truly stunned. Humans are not meant for mates, only breeding you knew this,  yet you have forsaken  all for one" He said glancing at Leena with disdain

"she?"

Another figure emerged elegantly gliding toward my father proudly 

Azi. i should have known.

"She informed me of you plans in exchange for my agreement that she would be your  bonded. Sadly I had hoped for Merdia,  but alas I was forced to concede because of your selfish rebellious acts!"  he snapped

I growled loudly 

"I am already bonded. so you both have waisted your time now step aside or shall be forced to kill you both"

They both paled at my words

"Bonded? to this human?"  She screeched in outrage as she raced toward Leena with lethal intent, My father remained frozen in shock his face in twisted in disgust

"Touch her and i will kill you"  i yelled 

My father guffawed at my threat.  his laughter reverberated around the room mockingly

"Your brother would have your head if he even suspected that you betrayed me" 

"My brother is dead"  i hissed my hand twitching  on my sword,  itching to kill the despicable male

"O no son he is very much alive. He returned to LoQua on the other vessel we had in our fleet,  along with your grandsire. Who do you think has been ruling our planet in my stead all these years?"

My steps staggered momentatily. My brother was alive? Living and Ruling LoQua? Why did  he lie about his demise then?

" Why?" I asked simply 

He seemd to know my question as he shrugged simply 

"I needed to control you. I assumed if you thought you were the only future  soverighn left you would behave, sadly i understimated that this human female would capture you attention and sway your loyalites. I would kill you, but with you uncle now dead there is no other to ascend the throne should your brother die" . He admitted  unrepentantly

Azi stood smirking at my distress her gaze fixing rpeadtedly on Leena's bound form

Snappping out of my father distracting words I snarled at him.

"I NO LONGER CARE ABOUT ANY OF THAT!. RELEASE HER!" 

Before he could respond i charged him, but  stopped as he held up a device in his hand. 

"If you seek to harm me in any capacity i shall be forced to use this. It is a LoQuan explosive that i am sure you are familiar with. A LoQuan can of course survive it with minor injury but a human? I doubt there will even be pieces of her to find"  he chuckled 

It was then that i heard the faint beeping of the explosive. It was strapped to her back intertwined with her bindings. Thinking hard, i looked subtlety toward Keira. She nodded and Her arrow pierced my fathers arm making him drop the device

I immediately seized my moment and rushed at him

Azi shrieked and ran out of the way as i met my father with my sword partnered with a lifetimes worth of scorn and contempt

He reached for his own blade but was pitifully too slow with his injury,  my blade easily  met his chest piercing him deep.  He gasped in pain and surprise as his eyes locked onto my own. I stared into his gaze so like my own as his life was snuffed out and he slumped off my blade; Sinking to the ground lifeless

It wasn't until he was dead i noticed there were no others around. Humans laid dead near the ship. Scientists i surmised. He truly meant to double cross these people. Did he leave none alive?. I shook my head with remorse as i ran to Leena

I sliced through her bindings quickly,  rushing to pull the device away from her. finally I  had freed her arms and snagged the device .It was a small square thing, attached to  her top; on her back. I moved to hurl it just as I noticed a figure moving toward the remote

Azi

"NO!!!" i chucked it forcefully  away from us just as she pressed the button

A sharp loud whine pierced the enclosre. Glass shattered around us everywhere. Leena flew from my grasp flying back away from me in the oppsote direction even as I fought to hold onto her

Ringing in my ears deafened  me as i hit the ground outside the enclosure hard . Shards of it stabbing my back as i landed, but all i could care about was Leena.

Please let her have survived.....................................

So Xui has a brother ruling on his home world
