Soulmates

Part 2 🐼🦆🦒🦙🍜

It's finally the day of the concert, I've waited so long to finally meet them. And on the other hand it's the day I meet my soulmate. I wonder if my soulmate is also a limelight. I hope so, then we can go to their concerts together. But I guess that's just wishful thinking.

Each person has a way of connecting with their soulmate. For Court it's that they share the same feelings. Some nights Courtney will be super excited, I mean not like normal excited, like mega excited, over the top. But other nights she can be super down. It hurts her so much knowing that her soulmate is hurting. For me and my soulmate we can write messages to each other on our arms and they disappear after 6 hours once your soulmate responds. Some of the messages seem like song lyrics, it's really cute.

Courtney was meeting me at my house at 9 and then we are heading off to Melbourne where the show is held. Shouldn't take any longer than an hour to get there. Well that's if traffic isn't bad, but then again we are talking about Melbourne here.

(Time Skip)
It was now 11:34am and we had arrived at the venue, there was so many limelights there who were also there for the meet and greet. Yes I know we are early but hey we were excited.

I looked down at my wrist to discover that I had only 2hrs/14mins/42secs left until I meet my soulmate. I must of been staring at it for awhile because when I looked up the line had looked twice as longer than before. But I wonder who my soulmate is going to be, what their interests and hobbies are. I just want to get to know them. The other side of me is so nervous I feel sick to my stomach. I shake myself out of my thoughts when I hear Courtney trying to talk to me. "Hey Lucy, what's up? I've been trying to talk to you for the past minute." "I don't know, I guess I just have a lot on my mind right now, that's all." "Are you sure that's all?" "Yes Court, I'm sure." We both laughed it off.

(Time skip)
5mins to go, that's all. Just 5 more minutes before my life will change for good, well hopefully. I could feel my heart beat becoming more rapid, and my breathing becoming unsteady. "Lucy look at me, you are going to be fine. Your soulmate is going to love you, I know it. Just trust your heart not your head this time. Now breathe in, breathe out." "Thanks Court, I don't know what I would do without you, honestly, probably would be in some hole right now trying to bury myself alive." "Oh Lucy, don't be so dramatic all the time." We both laughed at her joke.

1 min and 13 seconds left. Butterflies filled my stomach but I was excited this time. I looked over to Courtney and she was staring at her wrist. The nerves must be getting to her now. "Everything will be fine Court, and just remember I will be here for you no matter what happens." "Thanks lucy, and you know I will always be there for you." "Yes I know because you always keep reminding me." I look down at my arm, there were words, 'I can't wait to meet you xx'. How sweet. Before I could even get a pen to reply back.....
