Zach's POV
"I'm sorry Zach but it's time." I just sat next to Lucy knowing that this is it. "Would you like to stay in the room, which I turn it off." I just looked at the doctor and nodded. "Come on Lucy, if you are going to wake up there is no time like the present. Please just wake up for me, for Courtney, for your parents, for Jonah your bother, for your friends. Please!" I pleaded but nothing happened. The doctor walked over and was checking all the machines. "Okay when you're ready Zach just press this button." I looked at the button and back at Lucy. "I'm sorry Lucy, I will love you till the day I die, Goodbye for now." I kissed her lips goodbye. This will be the hardest thing I ever have to do. I moved my hand, to hover over the button...and I pushed the button. "Goodbye Lucy."

I kissed Lucy's hand and made my way out of the room with tears streaming down my face. I heard a faint whisper and thought it was the doctor. I heard it again but it was louder. "Zach". I turned around and stared at Lucy. All of a sudden her hand started to move. I rushed over to Lucy. "Its okay Lucy, I'm here." Her eyes weren't opened but I knew she was awake as she squeezed my hand tight. "I love you Lucy." She squeezed my hand again, letting me no she was awake and listening. I just can't believe she is alive.

(Time Skip)

It had been a couple of days now since Lucy had woken up. As soon as Lucy parents heard the news they took the first plane up to LA, but yesterday they had gone back home due to Mr Smith having to be back in time for work. Lucy had been a bit shaken up about the whole accident, but that is expected. Anyone would be shaken up if they were put in the same situation. Being. back for Lucy hasn't been easy but i'm always here to help. Like I help her to the toilet, get dressed, help her have a shower, help her eat. You know just normal stuff any boyfriend should do for their girlfriend. But to be honest I would do anything for Lucy, i'm just happy she is back with me.

"Hey Zach." "Yeah Lucy, what's up?" "Do you know who did this to me?" "Not yet but the police are coming to see us today with some news so it might be that." "Oh okay." We heard a knock on the door. I got up and opened it for who ever it was, just in time it was the police. "Hello sir, is this Miss Smith's room." "Yep sure is, just in here." I opened the door wider to. let them in. "Hello Miss Smith we have some news for you about the accident." "Yep, umm...what is it?" Poor Lucy, she sounded nervous, I mean I am too. What if this person knows us and is out to get us and finish the job. "Well the person who was driving the van was ..."
