Lucy's POV
It was now about 5:30, and Zach had taken me to the Melbourne star to watch the view of the sunset. It was very romantic, there was pillows and blankets. Cheese, crackers and wine. I guess we are celebrating something. We sat there in silence, enjoying each others company while watching the sunset. That's until Zach stood up for a second but then he was standing on one knee. "Umm Zach, what are you doing?" "Shh baby." I just stood up and waited for him to speck. He reached for his back pocket, where he took out a ring. I started to tear up. "Lucy I'm giving you this ring as a promise to always love and care about you. To be by your side no matter what. And to promise to give you the life that you deserve. Do you Lucy take this promise ring." "Omg yes Zach!!" He slipped the ring onto my finger. I jumped on him and he spun us around. I kissed him passionately and he did the same in return. "I love you Zach." "I love you Lucy"

Zach and me were now in the car on the way home. I just couldn't believe that Zach would do all of this for me. "Thanks for today Zach, I really appreciate it." "That's okay baby, you deserve it."He placed his hand on my knee, and gave me that goofy smile that adore. After about 5 mins we had arrived and once again Zach ran around the car to open my door. I got out of the car and Zach immediately started holding my hand. We walked to the door and he waited for me to open the door. He was acting weird. I opened the door and was welcomed with a massive surprise. "Happy Birthday Lucy!!" The boys, my family and ... Courtney were all there. Why is she here? My parents came up and hugged me first, with my mum beginning to tear up. "Mum" "I'm sorry, it's not everyday your daughter becomes an adult." We hugged again. And then the boys came up and hugged me. Courtney walked up to me. "Happy Birthday Lucy." "Thank you" "Look I'm sorry Lucy, I should of never said those things to you. I'm such a horrible friend. I promise to be right by your side through everything, as long as I can have my best friend back." "Of course Courtney, I could never stay mad at you." We hugged and that's when Courtney looked at my hand. She picked up my hand and looked puzzled at first, then a massive smile formed on her face. "Are you and Zach getting married?" She shouted. "Shh Courtney, no" I laughed. "Its a promise ring." "Omg yes, I'm so happy for you." "Thank you Courtney, i'm so happy to have my best friend back." "So am I. I missed you Lucy." "I missed you to Courtney."
