I woke up and I was in the backseat of someone's car. I sat up and saw Tristen was driving and no one in the passenger seat.

"Tristen." I say.

"Hey, you're up." he says.

"Yeah what happened?" I ask.

"I was driving and you were running at full speed and I kinda hit you." he says.

"Well I now know to watch out for you when I'm walking." I say laughing.

"It was actually your fault. You should really watch out when you run." he says.

"Shut up. Where's my mom?" I ask.

"Driving around looking for you." he says.

I nod. "Are you okay? Does anything hurt?" he asks.

"No. I'm fine." I say.

"I see that you're vampire strength is good." he says.

"Excuse me?" I say.

"You think I don't know a vampire when I see it." he says.

I don't say anything.

"Don't worry love. I'm a vampire too, so its okay." he says.

"Wait what?" I yell.

"Yes. I've been a vampire for 162 years." he says.

"What the fuck. I dated you for a year and never noticed." I say.

"Well I didn't want to scare you off." he says.

"Well I see I have a thing for vampires." I say.

He doesn't say anything and nods. I sit regularly and look out the window. Nothing looks familiar and I cock an eyebrow.

"Um where are we going?" I ask.

"I'm gonna take you to a real party." he says.

I don't say anything and I just sit and watch out the window. We pull into an extravagant house about ten minutes later. It was beautiful. It had more windows than walls. We got out the car and walked in. The windows all had the same symbol; a bird with a sword through it and the initials T.F.O. on it.

"Where are we?" I ask.

"Let's just say, its somewhere that you can't Miranda about." he says. He's going to kill me.

I hesitantly nod. He smiles and we walk into the house. There are some people here, like maybe thirty people maximum. They were all drinking blood out of wine glasses. The one impressive thing is that there is a stage with a red curtain covering it and on the side of the stage is a long table with wine glasses made into a triangle.

"Hey Tristen. Who is this?" a very handsome man asks looking at me. He grabs my hand and kisses it.

"I'm Liv." I say.

"Nice to meet you Liv. I'm Skylan." he says.

"Nice to meet you." I say.

"The pleasures all mine." he smirks.

I smile and he let's go of my hand. "Tristen it's very rude not to give a lovely lady like Liv a drink." Skylan says.

Tristen chuckles and walks away to get us drinks. Skylan scowls and turns and faces me.

"Liv, you look so underdressed for our gala." he says.

I look down at what I'm wearing. "I'm sorry, I really didn't know I was coming here." I apologize.
