So it's been about a week, maybe two, since Skylan became mayor and we've been great. I go to these town meetings everyday with the town council wives, and they are sweethearts. One of Skylan's friends wife is pregnant and will pop any day soon and she said she was naming her daughter after me. It makes me happy, I wish to have a child. But those are only wishes.

Skylan's at a meeting right now so I'm going grocery shopping to pick up something for dinner. Today is Skylan's birthday and I'm making him a birthday dinner. He told me when his mom was alive, his mom used to make him homemade broccoli and cheese soup with baked salmon and garlic rolls. He said it was his favorite so I'm gonna make it for him. I feel like it would be a good present for him. That, and because I didn't know what to get him.

I left the house and walked into town, and down to the market to get everything I needed. I found everything and checked out. As I was walking home I bumped into someone. I dropped my phone and leaned down to pick it up. I guess you shouldn't walk and text either.

"I am so sorry ma'am." The voice says quickly apologizing.

I looked up and see Dallas. Holyfuckingshitwhatishedoinghere! He looks up and sees me.

"It's fine, it was mostly me. I should have been looking where I was going." I say laughing. "I guess I don't know how to multitask." I say laughing as I hold up my phone.

"Yeah." He laughs. "Do I know you? I feel like I've seen you somewhere before." He says, his face studying mine.

"Well my husband is the mayor, our pictures are literally everywhere and we are well known around town." I say smiling and pointing around to point out Skylan and I's pictures.

"I'm sorry, I'm new to town." He says, "What's your name if you don't mind me asking." He say holding out his hand.

"It's no problem. I'm Genevieve, Genevieve Cowan." I say smiling and shaking his hand back. I feel that spark I usually get when I touch Dallas, all old memories started flooding to my mind but I pushed them away and smiled while letting go of his hand.

"Oh, well you aren't who I thought you were." He says sadly.

"I'm sorry." I smile politely.

"It's all good. I'm Dallas by the way." He smiles.

"Nice meeting you, but I have to get going. See you around Dale." I say messing his name up on purpose and walking away.

"Its Dallas!" He yells.

I give a polite nod and walk to my house. I lock the doors and go in the kitchen and start working on dinner. I'm going to have a lot to talk about over dinner.

**Dallas' POV**

I walked back to the hotel, we are all staying at, and met up with the guys. I walked up to the room we are staying in and saw everyone in there. They all looked up at me, Miranda standing up and walking towards me. He face reading confusion and so is Darren and Kellin's. I guess they didn't expect me back so soon.

"She's here." I say.

**Liv's POV**

I finished dinner and set the table, Skylan should be getting here anytime soon. Everything looks great and smells great. I placed his food infront of his seat and my food infront of mine. I set out wine glasses and poured blood in them. I've been taking drink after drink ever since I got home. I can't belive I ran into Dallas. Of all people why couldn't it be Cyndi? I'd probably kill Cyndi, so maybe she wouldn't be a better alternative.

"Honey I'm home." I hear Skylan says from the front door. I hear him chuckle at his cliché greeting, and it makes me smile.

I turn around to face him and he smiles at the dinner. He comes over to me and kisses me. I kiss him back, so much love and passion in that kiss. He kisses me back with the same feeling, maybe even more.

He looks at me, love in his eyes and smiles at me. "Thank you sweatheart." he says

"You're welcome honey. Happy Birthday." I say.

He smiles and we sit down at the table. I pour myself another glass of blood, let me remind you that it's my 8th cup today, and take a drink. What can I say? I'm sure anyone who just saw their ex boyfriend after a while would be on edge too.

"What did you make?" he asks sniffing the aroma of the food.

"Brocolli and cheese soup, baked salmon and garlic rolls." I say taking another big drink.

"My favorite." he says digging in and taking a big bite of his salmon.

He moans in satisfaction and throws his head back. "Mhh, honey this is great." He says.

"Yeah, I rememeber you telling me that your mom made this for you all the time and you loved it." I say smiling at him. "I just wanted to make you something special."

He grabs my hand and smiles at me. I squeeze his and and he kisses my knuckles and rubs over the place he kissed. I stop tappping my foot and my hand starts shaking so I take yet another drink of my glass. Gosh why am I this nervous?

"How many cups have you had?" he asks.

"You don't want to know." I say.

"Liv." he says in his stern voice.

"Fine. I've had somewhere between 8 and 9 cups." I say taking another drink.

"Why? What's wrong?" he asks, panic over coming him.

"I ran into Dallas leaving the market today." I say.

He just stares at me. "Wha? How? Huh?" he stammers.

"Skylan, they're here." I say.
