“I'm seriously sorry if I told you that I'm a vampire. But I'm not. But... Someone close to that specie.” replied Guy. “Come on, let's go. Your tummy is screaming, asking for food. Or is it scolding me?”

“Oh! Shut up.” said Cassidy chuckling at Guy's comment.

“Are you two going to come downstairs or what?” asked Greg, screaming, which sounded like he was on the ground floor.

Cassidy and Guy raced down the stairs like two little kids running down on Christmas day after their parents say Santa Claus has left them some gifts near the Christmas tree.

“I'm not a good cooking expert, but I just made something simple.” said Greg, taking a plate out of the microwave.

Cassidy took two plates out of the plate rack and placed it on the table. Then she took the necessary cutlery and placed them in appropriate locations.

“Not bad.” said Guy after taking a bite of the pasta Greg has prepared.

“Yeah! I never thought that he could be such a good cook.” replied Cassidy.

Guy and Cassidy hurried up and ate all without even leaving a single pasta lying on the plate.

“Wanna try blueberry cheesecake?” asked Cassidy after putting all the plates into the dishwasher.

“Blueberry cheesecake? Oh my God, yes. That's my favourite dessert.” said Guy sounding happy and surprised that Cassidy also like blueberry cheesecake.

“Me too!” exclaimed Cassidy surprised.

“Really? I guess we are alike.” said Guy happily.

“How many slices do you want? Two or more?” asked Cassidy after keeping a slice on the side plate.

“I'll eat one and see.” said Guy and started to eat the cheesecake.

“How is it?” asked Cassidy after having some bites from the cheesecake she has served for herself.

“It's truly amazing. The best cheesecake EVER!” exclaimed Guy and hugged her.

“Thanks. I made it yesterday.” said Cassidy cheerfully and flattered.

“Oh my god! Can you make a cheesecake on my birthday?” asked Guy.

“Okay?” said Cassidy.

“You know, that would be the best birthday gift you can give me.” replied Guy.

“Wow! Okay. Better remind me about one week ahead.” said Cassidy.

Guy gave a thumb up to her in return. Cassidy and Guy quietly had their dessert and return back to Cassidy's room.

“So, what are we going to do now?”asked Guy after sitting beside Cassidy.

“Shall we finish homework? I have tons of homework today.” replied Cassidy.

“Okay. Shall we start with literature?” asked Guy, taking his books out from his bag and placed it on the table.

“Okay. Can you help me to analyse Minor Bird?” asked Cassidy, taking her textbook out of her bag.

“Minor Bird? There's no bird here.” replied Guy, looking around while teasing Cassidy.

“Come on. It's a Frost poem.” replied Cassidy.

“All right, all right. But you have to try first.” said Guy.

“Please! You're sweet, right?” said Cassidy trying to make Guy give the answers.

“Do I look like a toffee or so?” asked Guy smiling widely at Cassidy.

“Come on. You're a good boy right!” said Cassidy applying butter as if he is a slice of bread if you put it literally.

“Stop it, will you? I won't try to analyze it for you. First, you analyse it.” said Guy and closed his literature book. Then he kept his books aside.

“Aren't you going to do homework?” asked Cassidy.

“I'll do Literature after you finish analysing.” replied Guy.

“So what are you going to do now?” asked Cassidy.

“I'm gonna do my history homework. I have to an essay to write.” replied Guy while taking his history books out.

“What about literature? We are supposed to give the papers tomorrow.” said Cassidy while playing with her pencil.

“Cheeky! I know you are going to copy down my ideas without analysing the poem.” replied Guy and smiled at her.

“Come on! What's so bad about it?” asked Cassidy while waving her pencil vigorously.

“I KNEW IT! How can you learn about the poem without analysing it?” asked Guy.

“Reading your analysis.” said Cassidy and gave a wide smile showing her teeth.

“Really?” asked Guy. “Aaw..” said Guy.

“Sorry.” replied Cassidy feeling a bit embarrassed.

“Stop playing with your pencil. What if it hit my eye?” asked Guy.

“Okay! I'm sorry.” replied Cassidy.

"Don't ever do it again. Understood?” asked Guy.

“Yes, sir.” replied Cassidy.

Cassidy and Guy continued to do their homework. After Cassidy finished analysing the poem, she handed over the poem to Guy which he read before commenting.

“Not bad, but it's about people, the society. You could say about politicians.” replied Guy while handing back the paper.

“How come?” asked Cassidy.

“You boy.” said Greg all of a sudden pointing at Guy interrupting their conversation. “Come out. I want to talk to you.”

Guy stood up unable to decide what to do or what to say. He didn't want to put Cassidy into trouble and see her getting hurt because of his actions. Therefore he followed Greg out of the room.
