I didn't realize how much I missed our friendship
Until I saw you the other day and we had a conversation
We were flirting a little bit, but that's a door that'll stay closed
You looked tired and worn outYou used to be chunky, but you've lost some weight
I hope everything is alright because you don't seem fine
You've been at the gym, but you don't have musclesI told you about this boy who hadn't treated me right
And it was almost like you had seemed jealous
But again that's a door that will stay shutYou made fun of me cause I have no sense of direction
And I normally stay home all the time was my excuse
We've been texting a little more recently
And I had forgotten how good we were as friendsWe made a silly bet and I got a grin on your face
You were quiet throughout the whole dinner
The charm you normally had wasn't thereIt's not my place to be the person checking up on you
It's not my place to be your friend
You are the one that closed that doorI wish things were different but they aren't
I have moved on completely and I'm so happy for you
Your new girl is amazing for youHere's to a new chapter for us
One where we aren't completely ignoring each other
Where we don't talk bad about each other
And we definitely don't believe in rumors
