The moon had long gone.

It was not coming back.

There was not site of it in the sky night sky. The night was eerie and dark, almost as if there was some looming entity in sky looking down on the land.  It felt like a blimp, one second it was there than the next it disappeared. If the world had known that the moon had been swallowed by a woman, chaos would erupt. If they had known that it was a dark skinned woman who was also a prostitute they would have had her head on a pike. A prostitute who's whole existence was a Taboo.

This woman was able to come to Ukuthula illegally and steal the hearts of many prominent men. Oh, this woman was a dangerous anomaly that needed to be contained and killed. But yet, that woman's head was not on a pike. This woman was currently in a large garden running . For years had served its purpose lighting the night sky and controlling the tides but yet as this woman appeared it vanished. Who was this woman?

Who was Delicious. This answer would come to haunt many of those who choose to align themselves with her. If they had known about the chaos this woman would implement they would have killed her.

Why was she running? Even she did not know why? The primal instinct within bones told her she was not safe. Candlelight flickered in the distance behind her, the only glow in this moonless world.

The long dining table, now abandoned, bled wax into the dark like forgotten prayers. Her bare feet hit the wet soil with a large thud as she sprinted in the garden. Her breathe grew ragged breathing pierced her ears as she did not have time to think. RUN.

The three letter word chanted in her mind like a mantra on loop as she picked up her feet and ran in the endless maze. Delicious knew she had to escape this house. The further she ran, the darker it became. Trees swallowed the path. The ground turned slick beneath her feet. Her own breath betrayed her, louder now, echoing off stone and root and vine. Her stomach trembled against her organs like a warning sign for her to leave this hell.

With each strut she exhaled deeply to allow her body to take on more oxygen to continue running. Delicious's eyes twitched like a lightbulb as she ran in complete darkness in the lush full garden. There was no thought behind her empty and dull eyes. Delicious could barely blink as she ran. There was no sense of direction while Delicious ran but she knew that behind her was a great danger that alone could not face.

The table that was once filled with hundreds of candles was now far behind no where to be found. The orange light from the candles grew dim as she ran deeper into the garden. Delicious knew she had to find somewhere to hide and far away from De'mon, Anun, and Harrie. Delicious knew that there was something wrong with her body.

The heat that evaded her bones and nerves was not normal. A deep fire swirled in the pits of her stomach and rubbed every particle of her being. The heat was inhumane, it was so intense that Delicious could keep any clothes on. Delicious wanted to rip every part of her skin off. The dark sky had a few stars scattered in the sky as darkness hovered over it and marked its territory. Delicious had no clue where she was running to or where she was going but she knew she had to leave that table!
