Back on earth, it had only been a few days since Sabrina, and I had returned from Hell when Lilith came to retrieve my sister and I. "the infernal court has gathered in Pandemonium and are awaiting your arrival, it is imperative that we go now" Lilith said. So, unfortunately, this is why I got my second stamp from Hell on my passport. Yay.
Hmm, I thought in my head. Maybe this is about Caliban. I definitely would not mind seeing him again. A shame he has such an attitude.
Lilith quickly portal us to Hell, and we arrived in what seemed to be a meeting room with many demons, including the 3 kings. The room was deafening when we got there, with demons pounding on the table in an uproar.
It was quite frightening, to say the least. And extremely intimidating. I wanted to get out of this room as quickly as possible!
"Order! There will be order!" Lilith shouted, standing up from her chair.
"Order?" one of the kings questioned, "We are the lords of disorder," he said with a condescending tone of voice, as the rest of the demons around them laughed at the joke.
"You demanded an audience with the Queen, now you must let her speak," Lilith said with an air of authority in her voice.
Before Sabrina even had the chance to speak, the doors suddenly opened, and Caliban made a dramatic entrance with his usual confident smirk on his face. His eyes seemed to automatically lock with my own.
"I, Caliban, demon Prince of Hell, challenge the Morningstar to her seat on the throne," Caliban said with a proudness in his voice. It was only then that I noticed the rolled-up parchment in his hand. The signatures. I knew it was only a matter of time before it came to this.
"Look upon the scroll, I have gathered 666 signatures of the highest born in Hell to endorse my challenge. By infernal law of the court of Hell, it must be accepted."
"Is that true" Sabrina whispered to Lilith. "Technically, yes," she replied.
"Or you can simply forfeit the throne," Caliban continued.
"Oh, don't even!" Sabrina quickly replied apparent outrage could be heard in her voice.
"Then I challenge you on a quest for... The Unholy Regalia," Caliban replied pride evident in his voice about what he just suggested to Sabrina.
"I accept," Sabrina replied.
. . . . . . . . . .
After the first challenge with Caliban winning, unfairly, I might add. It was time for the second challenge. When the rest of the court cleared out, including Lilith, the only ones to remain were Sabrina, Caliban, and myself.
"You know we don't have to do this, Sabrina. An alliance could easily be formed." Caliban said with a smirk on his face.
"What type of alliance," Sabrina asked.
"Think of it as a trade or a sacrifice if you want to be petty," he responded with confidence.
"What do you want, Caliban," Sabrina asked with annoyance in her voice.
"What I want? Well that simple really, I want Y/N. Give her to me, and I will withdraw my challenge to the throne, Hell I will even support your claim!"
"No way in heaven are you getting my little sister!" Sabrina said in anger. Her protective nature was kicking in.
"Then you will lose your throne, and I will kill everyone you love on earth. I will destroy it!" Caliban replied in anger.
"I accept."
"What," Sabrina said in confusion. "I accept your alliance Caliban. I will be yours," I responded in a calm tone.
Caliban had a grin on his face while Sabrina tried to hold in the tears I knew would eventually fall. I slowly approached Caliban, and he used an arm to pull me into his side. I thought I would be scared of him, but I actually feel calm, safe. This was defiantly unexpected.
With one more look at my sister, I sent her a reassuring smile before Caliban teleported us out of the room in a ball of flames. When we arrived to where Caliban took us, I was surprised to see us in the living room of a house.
The décor, although dark, was modern and looked inviting. "Where are we?" I asked Caliban. "Our home." He responded. He had a gentler smile on his face than what I was used to seeing. "Do you like it?" He asked, running a hand through his hair. Was he nervous?
"Yes, I do," I responded, wonder clear in my voice. "Why did you want me, Caliban," I asked with curiosity. "Because you are everything I want in the world. You are kind and beautiful but also so strong."
"Oh," I was not expecting that in the least.
Slowly approaching my Caliban wrapped a strong arm around me and pulled me to his chest before wrapping both his arms around me in a tight embrace. I responded, slowly wrapping my arms around his neck.
When we pulled apart, I stared into his eyes and noticed his eyes slowly drift down my face to rest on my lips before moving up to my eyes again. He leaned in slowly and connected our lips in a sweet kiss.
The kiss soon turned passionate, and Caliban slowly started walking back towards one of the coaches, falling back on the plush leather sofa, he pulled me onto his lap so that I was straddling him as we continued to kiss.
Eventually, we pulled apart, both of us breathing heavily. A smile soon appeared on his face, mirroring the one on my own. "I truly like you Y/N. We will make this work."
"I like you too, Caliban."
Smiling at each other, I laid my head into his shoulder and slowly drifted to sleep with a smile still on my face as I thought of the new life I would b
