Arriving in my old house, I didn't see anyone right away, so I decided to make my way to the kitchen.
When I walked into the kitchen, my Aunt Hilda was there, baking up a storm as usual. She loved anything to do with the kitchen.
And God was she ever good at it too. I had missed her cooking. The chiefs that worked in Caliban and I's house had nothing on Aunt Hilda.
"Aunt Hilda!" I exclaimed in excitement at seeing her for the first time in weeks.
She quickly turned around in shock, holding a huge knife. When she recognized me, she promptly dropped the blade running up to me and embracing me in a motherly hug.
"Y/N! Satan, we were so darn worried about you! Are you alright, did he hurt you!" Aunt Hilda said quickly with a worried look upon her face.
"Aunt Hilda, I'm alright! There is nothing to be worried about, I promise! I'm just so happy to see you again, I missed you and everyone else so much! "We missed you too dear, so, so much," she said, raw emotion noticeable in her gentle voice.
"It's so good to see you again, Aunt Hilda, but I should probably go and find cousin Ambrose and Sabrina before they kill me. I will be back in the evening for dinner before I must get back to Caliban. If Aunt Zelda comes home, please let her know I will see her this evening."
"Alright, dear, you best be off now," and so that is precisely what I did. I promptly walked out of the kitchen and the house, making my way to the Academy of Unseen Arts, where I knew I would find Sabrina and Ambrose. When I got inside the academy, the first person I saw was my older sister, Sabrina.
When we made eye contact, we were both suddenly running towards each other at top speed, desperate to give the other a hug.
We met in the middle of the room, wrapping our arms around each other in a tight embrace, happy to finally be reunited again after so long apart.
"Y/N! Satan, I missed you so fucking much! I was so worried about you!" she exclaimed in relief.
"I'm alright, Sabrina! Caliban would never hurt me," I said back in a comforting tone.
"How the Hell could you possibly know that" she questioned. "Actually, never mind, we can talk about this later! First, we need to go find Ambrose, he will want to see you!" she said with a happy smile on her face.
"Alright, Sabrina lets go find him," I said back to her.
Walking out of the main entrance, we went down to the library, knowing that he would most likely be there.
And right we were. We found him sitting at a table with his nose buried in a book, a look on pure concentration on his face.
"Ambrose!" Sabrina called out, "Look who's back," she said, pointing her finger at me.
Ambrose looked up his eyes widening in shock, and a massive smile overtook his face as he looked at me. He stood up and approached me, arms open wide, waiting for me to jump in his arms and give him a hug.
I jumped towards him, wrapping my arms tightly around his waist. "Ambrose, Satan, have I missed you!" I said with a happy smile on my face."As have I Y/N, I was wondering when you would be making an appearance around here again!" he said with a playful tone of voice.
"I know, and I'm sorry I didn't come and visit sooner, I've just been busy getting settled into my new home with Caliban," I said back a smile still present on my face.
"I figured that was the case, have you seen our Aunties yet?" he asked. "Just Aunt Hilda so far, next stop is Aunt Zelda," I said with a bit of fear, lacing my voice."Then it's best we don't keep Aunt Zelda waiting for Y/N," Ambrose said.
"He's right, Y/N, let's get back home and face the music," Sabrina said to me."Alright. Let's do this," I said with fear evident in my voice. Fuck. Aunt Zelda is going to kill me. Or try to never let me see Caliban again. I don't know which one is worse.
