Caliban - First Valentine's Day

It was the first Valentine's Day you were able to spend with someone special. That someone special happened to be the King of Hell. Ever since Sabrina and Caliban have agreed to rule Hell side by side in a political way, you were happy that you could be with him without worrying about Hell going into chaos again.

"So, Y/N, do you and Caliban have anything special going on for Valentine's day?" Sabrina asks you as the two of you were in Hell. You were waiting for Caliban while he was finishing up a soul dealing.

"I'm not sure. It's my first time with someone on Valentine's day. I have no idea what to do," You tell her.

"Well, you guys can watch movies at your place. Aren't your parents going to be gone that night?" Sabrina asked you.

"Yes, but I also don't know if he'd want to take it even further," You tell her.

"You two haven't done it yet?" Sabrina asks you. You shook her head at her.

"There's my queen. Hello, love of my life," Caliban said before kissing your cheek.

"Hi, babe," You smiled as he hugged you from behind.

"Well, it's my turn to rule over Hell. You two enjoy your day," Sabrina said.

"Thanks, 'Brina. I'll see you later," I tell her as Caliban teleported you both out of Hell.

"Your mortal love holiday is coming up," Caliban said as the two of you lied in your bed together.

"Yup. It's really important to all these people who are in relationships," You tell him.

"Is Valentine's important to you now?" Caliban asked you.

"It kind of is now. Since I'm with you now," You tell him with a smile.

"What do you want to do on that special day?" Caliban asks you.

"I'm not sure. I have never really done anything for Valentine's day before," You tell him honestly.

"What if I were to make it special for you?" Caliban asks you.

"That would mean a lot to me," You tell him.

"Well, I promise that I will make our Valentine's day as special as it can be," Caliban promised.

"I'll be waiting for that day then," You smiled at Caliban.

The week leading up to Valentine's day was eventful for you. Caliban has left all sorts of gifts in your locker at school. Monday, it was flowers. Tuesday, it was chocolate. Wednesday was a meaningful love letter. And Thursday was a gift basket of all the things you love. Now it was Friday and Valentine's Day. You were more than excited to spend the day with Caliban after you got out of school.

"Wow, Caliban goes all out," Roz tells you.

"Yeah. I'm really happy with him," You tell her.

"So what's the plans for Valentine's day?" Theo asked you.

"I'm not sure. It's a surprise," You explain to him.

"Well, you have to tell us what Caliban did for you later," Sabrina said.

"Alright," You smiled.

After school, you saw Caliban waiting in front of your school. You smiled as he was waiting patiently for you.

"Hey," You said as you walked up to him.

"Hello, beautiful. Ready for our date?" Caliban asks you.

"Ready as I'll ever be," You tell him.

You and Caliban walked over to the forest where you saw a picnic set up. You looked over at Caliban as he smiled proudly at the setup.

"You did all this?" You questioned.

"All for you," Caliban said before kissing your head.

"I can't believe this," You awed.

"Come on. Let's eat," Caliban said as he leads you over to the picnic blanket.

"You eat?" You questioned.

"No, but it's alright. I will be reading you some love poems," Caliban said.

"Oh, this is so cheesy, but I love it," You tell him.

After you ate your lunch, you lied on Caliban's lap as he continued to read some poems.

"How is this so far?" Caliban asked you.

"It's been great," You tell him as you got up from his lap.

"I have one more thing before we go back to your house and watch all your favourite romance movies I have ready," Caliban said.

"What is it?" You asked.

Caliban pulled out a ring box from his pocket, making you gasp.

"What is going on?" You asked.

"It's not a marriage proposal, but it is a proposal," Caliban said.

"What kind of proposal is it?" You questioned.

"I love you, Y/N. But this isn't the type of proposal you're thinking of. I want to say that I promise that one day, I will be able to get down on one knee and ask you to be my wife for all eternity. I love you so much, Y/N, and I want you to be my wife one day. And I promise that I will make you feel like the queen you already are," Caliban said. You smiled as Caliban opened the box. You saw a small yet elegant diamond ring.

"It's a promise ring?" You asked.

"Yes. I promise that one day I will marry you. Will you promise me the same thing?" Caliban asked you.

"Yes," You nodded as he slipped the ring on your finger. You smiled before giving him a kiss.

"I love you," You tell him.

"I love you too," Caliban said before giving you another kiss.
