Y/N was new, Her family had just moved to Greendale. Her old coven had taught different magic than the ones taught at The Academy of Unseen Arts, and so you had to play catch up.

Father Blackwood hastily gave you a tour of the school, but soon dumped you into a class, necromancy. You settled into a seat next to a blonde girl, who later introduced herself as Sabrina Spellman. For the entirety of the class, you felt nervous. You didn't know if it was the new school or the fact that you couldn't keep up with the class.

"Miss L/N, Will you please tell me what incantation is needed to resurrect a cadaver that had died from slit throat?" The professor asked. You swallowed thickly.

"I- Um... dormientem excitare?" You asked, your voice low. The class laughed,

"No Miss L/N, But clever use of Latin. 'Wake up Sleeper', very clever. But no, it is not dormientem excitare."

"I'm sorry sir, at my old school we only got up to resurrecting small animals." You muttered, Truth is you knew the answer, but you didn't want people to know your true affinity for raising the dead. You were outcasted last time that got out.

"That's alright, Nicholas? D o you mind?" The professor looked over to a handsome boy sat at the desk next to you. He smiled at you before looking to the professor.

"insutos pallio vindictae" He said smoothly. The professor nodded.

"Very good. Nicholas, you will tutor our new student, so she is caught up with the rest of the class." The professor turned and continued with his lesson.

You were packing up your things when you felt someone tap on your shoulder. When you turned, you saw Nicholas.

"Y/N was it? It seems I'm your tutor. I'm Nicholas, When shall we start?" He flashed a bright smile to you, which you returned.

"I suppose you are handsome. When shall we start?" He smirked

"Lunch, meet me in the library." And with that, he walked out of class.

It had been 3 weeks since Nicholas had started to tutor you. He had 'helped' you a lot, and you and he had become rather good friends. It was a Friday lunch, you were sat at your's and Nicholas' usual spot. You had just settled down when a Lily was placed in front of you. You chuckled and picked it up.

"Oh Nicholas, This is lovely." You brought the Lily up to your face and gave it a smell, smelling it's sweet perfume. Nicholas smiled and sat on the chair beside you.

"This should be our final tutoring lesson, you're almost completely caught up, dear." He clicked his fingers, and a few textbooks flew to the table, opening on the pages you both would need.

"I'll miss seeing your cute face every lunch." You frowned.

Nicholas smiled "Let's start with some incantations, shall we?"

"If it means I get to hear your sweet voice, then go ahead." You smiled. He chuckled.

"You know, L/N I don't believe you really need my help."

"Why's that?" You smirked

"Because you already know everything, I've been teaching you." You chuckled

"You caught me. Truth is, I have an... Affinity for necromancy. I didn't want to show it, so here we are." You shrugged.

"If you wanted to spend time with me that bad, then why don't we go on a date?"

"I'd love that." You smiled.
