"Y/N."

"Nicholas."

"Is this particular wall entertaining? Or do you just enjoy staring at walls?" You rolled your eyes.
You were currently standing outside your bedroom, staring at the strange marking someone had left on the wall next to your door.

"What's this?" He asked as he approached, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I'm pretty sure someone cursed my bedroom."

"Ah," he said. "Is that blood?"

He looked closer, reaching out to touch the mark. He examined what was left on his finger and nodded.

"Yeah, that's definitely blood."

"It was probably Prudence, getting back at me for showing her up in choir practice."

"Well, what are you gonna do?"

"Go to Father Blackwood, I guess."

"I could undo the curse for you."

You looked at him, eyebrows raised.

"You would do that?" You asked warily.

"Yeah, I happen to know what this particular curse is and how to reverse it." When he noticed your confused expression, he continued. "I need practice reversing curses anyway."

You nodded warily, eyeing him.

"Okay... as long as you don't make it worse."

He smirked. "I promise I won't."

"Hey, Prudence," you said, coming to stand next to her in choir practice.

"Oh, hello, Y/N. How did you sleep?"

You saw the mischievous glint in her eyes and you smirked.

"Like the dead."

Her smile faltered and she looked forward, casting her eyes away from you.

"I didn't think you were advanced enough to undo my curse."

"I'm not. But I have friends who are."

You glanced over at Nick, who sent you a wink.

"Ah," Prudence laughed. "Nicky undid the curse for you. I thought you two hated each other?"
"I thought so, too. But people can surprise you. Unlike you. Honestly, a curse is predictable by now, Prudence. You might want to up your game."

You looked over at Nick, who was laughing at Prudence's offended expression. You laughed too, glad to see Prudence no longer so cocky.

"She cursed your bedroom?!" Sabrina asked, "Oh my Satan, that's so rude."

"I know. If Nick didn't undo it, I don't know what would've happened."

Sabrina's eyebrows shot up, mouth falling open.

"Nick undid it for you?"

You nodded.

"Nicholas Scratch?"

You nodded again.

"You mean the boy you endlessly bicker with and have never gotten along with before? That Nicholas Scratch?"

"Yes, that one. I don't get why that's so shocking."

"Because, Y/N," Sabrina explained. "You two HATE each other. Or at least I thought you did."
You shrugged.

"I mean it's not like we're best friends now, he just did me a favor."

Sabrina nodded, eyeing you with suspicion.
