An Ambrose story just as requested by a reader in my last chapter! I hope you enjoy the chapter and remember to send in your requests!

It was a slightly awkward situation you were in. Ambrose was your best friend, and he had been for about 127 years. You had been through a lot together. And now you had finally gotten around to visiting him while under house arrest.

You had flown in on an aeroplane, His aunt Zelda was there to pick you up. You would be staying for a few months to catch up and spend time with Ambrose and his family.

As you approached the house, you saw Ambrose stood on the stairs, with his cousin Sabrina, and his aunt Hilda. They smiled as the car stopped, you and Zelda stepped out. Ambrose ran down the steps and over to you, engulfing you in a hug.

"It has been too long!" He said as he pulled away. You smiled back to him, you couldn't contain yourself.

"I missed you!" Your voice was small but full of happiness. A hiss could be heard on the ground. An emerald snake circled Ambrose, he simply smiled and bent over to pick up the snake.

"I missed you too, Xena, don't worry." Ambrose chuckled.

His aunt Hilda made her way over to you and wrapped her arms around your neck.

Today's story question: What is your favorite animal? Mine is a horse!

"Oh, dear, it's been so long! I've made all of your favourites for dinner, and I've made up the guest bedroom just how you like it. I even bought some things to feed lovely little Xena-" Hilda went to pet her, but the snake snapped at her "Ah, she's just as feisty as I remember." She chuckled.

"Ambrose, get Y/N's bags, Sabrina will show her inside," Zelda spoke clearly. Sabrina made her way over to you and smiled, she held her hand out for you to shake.

"I'm Sabrina. It's a pleasure to meet you." She smiled, she took your hand and showed you inside.

You had spent the rest of the afternoon in Ambrose's room, talking and catching up on each other's lives.

However, now you were sat around the dinner table with his family. Laid out in front of you was a feast set for a royal. All of your favourite dishes were there; you couldn't believe how much effort Hilda had gone to just for you.

"Hilda, this is incredible. Thank you so much!" You smiled; Hilda had a proud look on her face.

You honestly couldn't believe how lovely the family was, and how much they truly wanted to look after you.
