Hey guys, so here is part 6 of my "The Proposal" one-shots! let me know what you think will happen in the comments below!

The tension in the room was thick enough that it could be cut with a knife. Aunt Zelda still had a tight grip on my arm and was staring Caliban down.

Glancing up at Caliban, I was not surprised at all to see the pure rage in his eyes. I was his, and he was mine, and he would never allow someone to take what was rightfully his.

"Aunt Zelda, let go!" I exclaimed as her grip was not getting to be extremely pain full. I knew that in the morning, I would find a bruise in the shape of a handprint on my wrist.

My exclamation of paid must have caused Aunt Zelda and Caliban to snap out of the staring match, and Caliban glanced my way with a determined look in his eyes. He would protect me."Release her, I will not ask again," Caliban said with a deadly calm voice. It was that tone of voice that sent shivers throughout my body.

"I will not! She is my niece! You do not own her!" Aunt Zelda quickly responded, rage evident in her tone of voice.

"Y/N, please forgive me for this darling," Caliban said, with a determined and slightly regretful voice.

Caliban stepped forward, his eyes still fixed on Aunt Zelda, and with a flick of his hand, a bright ball of orange energy was summoned to his hand.

Holding the energy ball, he looked towards Aunt Zelda, with a look of resolve, hoping she would back down and let go of me.

But she is a stubborn woman and did not let go.

And with a deep sigh, Caliban waved his hand towards Aunt Zelda, and she was blasted away from me, crashing through the kitchen wall and falling to the floor in the living room.I looked at my Aunt and then to Caliban with a shocked face. Holy Hell, I cannot believe he just did that. My God.

Caliban approached me with a saddened look on his face. I knew he never wanted to hurt any of my family, but I also knew he would do whatever was necessary to protect me.

Caliban extended his arms towards me, and I ran to greet him, wrapping my arms tightly around his neck as he wrapped his own around my waist and pulled me close to his chest in a protective manner.

"Caliban, thank Hell you came! I didn't know how to get out of that situation, I was worried I wouldn't see you again!" I said with a nervous expression on my face.

"Darling, you know I would never let that happen. You are too important to me." He responded with a loving smile on his face.

Leaning down, he placed a tender kiss on my forehead before unwrapping his arms from around my waist and instead grabbed my hand.

I separated from him, standing up straight by his side. Side by side, we looked at the damage that had been done to my former house and the shocked looks of my family.

We faced it all together. As equals. He was mine, and I was his. We would face whatever came next together.
