Lucifer disappeared into the night, and your head ached with the memories that had been pushed back into your head. There was a lot there that you just suddenly knew, and the thing that hit in the front of your head the hardest was the fact that the witches made you think you were one of them.

Essentially from what you remembered, you were one of them but not part of their coven. They had taken you when they imprisoned Lucifer and wiped your memories so that you couldn't fight back and find them. With their powers being taken, they needed you around.

And for that, they would suffer. You remembered you had liked some of them prior to the whole mess. Sabrina, your husband's daughter, was a personal favorite.

You held your book tightly to your chest as you walked back upstairs as if nothing was wrong. You waited in your classroom patiently to get a note from the dark lord that he had made it out of Faustus's body. When you heard running footsteps down the hall, you figured you had been found out, not that you were going to give up that easy.

The classroom door swang open and in came the Spellmans. You stopped biting your pen and looked up, brushing your hair to the side. You were eager to get out of the school and the clothes they had convinced you to where in your weakened state. Not exactly queen style.

"Did you see Luc-the man in the dungeon. Did you see Faustus?" Zelda questioned. You shrugged and shook your head.

"Faustus is in the dungeon?" you questioned with a feign surprise look. They looked between each other and Sabrina let out an annoyed sigh.

"Do you know why we don't worship the dark lord anymore?" Sabrina questioned.

"Something you did to disrespect him, I suppose. Why? What does that have to do with Faustus?" Zelda gave you a pointed look and left with a huff and quick steps. She never did like you much.

When they left, you left the class for inland Greendale, telling yourself that was probably where you would find Lucifer. You walked with your head held high when you reached the town and was surprised to find your intuition had led you to the house of Lilith's old body.

You couldn't remember her name for the life of you, but you walked in without knocking because the door was cracked open. You walked in and found Lilith standing there. You raised an eyebrow.

When she saw you, you could see her fight or flight response relax. She still thought your memory had been wiped, and you were relying on it.

"Wow..you look different.." you trailed off, and your eye lit up. "Mary!" You smiled to yourself. You did remember things occasionally. She gave you a shaky smile.

"I didn't know you were coming over today, Y/N," she questioned, and you waved her off, walking further into the house like you owned it and had been there many times.

"We always have tea at this time, you know that. Love what you've done with your hair by the way," you pointed out. The bathroom door was ajar, and you figured Lucifer was getting her to take him out of Faustus. She had left him for a moment. Why?

You looked around and then at her dishevelled appearance you hadn't noticed when you came in. Your lips fell into an angry sneer, but you managed to hold it back.

"Can I use the bathroom?" You were already walking in when she called to stop you. Faustus was there, getting dressed. Lucifer was fast asleep in the bath. You turned on your heels and pushed Lilith against the wall with your sheer anger (and power).

"So what did you do? Manipulate the situation to keep yourself alive?" you sneered. Her face flashed in fear.

"You remember," she whispered. You scoffed and twisted your hand, and she squealed in pain but not enough to break anything substantial.

"What did you do?" you hissed.

"I'm carrying your husband's son," she told you carefully. Faustus was out the door the second you turned your back, but you weren't worried about that.

"He doesn't know. What stops me from killing you right this very moment?" Your eyes were crazed.

"Y/N, isn't this my job?" You didn't even need to turn around to know the devil was standing behind you.

"I carry your seed! Your son!" He approached you and grabbed your arm, pulling you away from Lilith. You stood beside him and laughed dryly at his appearance before watching him grant Lilith mercy. You would have told him to stop if you didn't think he was probably right, even in your blinding rage over many things.

"An illegitimate child," he promised, and you rolled your eyes before walking and grabbing him the clothes you had found for him.

He left Lilith to accompany you in getting him some clothes, knowing she wouldn't leave if she got the chance now. She had a security blanket on her, and you simply let it happen, knowing there was nothing you could do about it.

"Here," you whispered and handed him the clothes. They weren't fancy and certainly not fit for a king, but that didn't matter as long as he was able to get back to hell and to his wardrobe.

"Thank you, darling," he whispered, and you nodded stiffly.

"Lilith is your daughter's queen regent." He scoffed and threw on the shirt.

"You were a teacher at a coven who worships Lilith. Many things have gone wrong in my absence, and I am here to the right them." You leaned forward and kissed him harshly. He didn't stumble back in surprise. You could never catch him by surprise.

"What in the heaven are you wearing?" he whispered, and you laughed lightly.

"A teacher's outfit. Please can we go home," you said, smiling. He nodded, and you got Lilith and returned back to hell.

Despite the uncertainty of the crown, you felt right at home. You quickly changed into a long black dress with golden accents, feeling much more comfortable in the stiff frame then you did in the clothes earlier. You stepped out of your room and met eyes with Lucifer, who smiled devilishly at your appearance.

"There's the Queen. Come, we have to meet my daughter on the terms of some rubbish fight for the crown."

"I heard her opponent is made of clay."

"Don't you miss the simple days like when the Morningstar's weren't questioned?" he stated as you walked to the throne room.

"I hope they question you, it's more enjoyable to watch you snap necks."
