"David? What do you mean?" You looked at your boyfriend, hurt flashing through your eyes.

"I can't do this anymore, I don't... I don't love you."

Your mouth opened to respond, but you closed it again. You felt tears start to burn at your eyes and you looked away.

"You... I-I thought we..."

"I thought I loved you, but I don't."

"But–"

"Can you just leave? I'm sorry, but I... just leave."

You shook your head, wiping the tears starting to roll down your cheeks.

"I can't believe you." You grabbed your jacket and stomped towards the door, slamming it with all your might. It wasn't long before Harvey came rushing into the living room, catching sight of his brother, running his hands down his face.

"What did you do?"

David looked up at his twin, shaking his head.

"He said what?!"

You sighed as you told your sister what had happened. "He told me he never loved me."

"How can he just say that? What an–"

"It's fine, 'Brina. I'm glad it's over. If that's how he felt, I don't want to be with him anyway."

Sabrina pouted, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder. "I'm sorry."

"It's fine," you said, wiping your cheeks. "I'll be okay." You offered her a small smile and she stood up, walking towards your bedroom door.

"On the bright side, are you excited to start at the academy tomorrow?"

You genuinely smiled at this. "Yeah, beyond excited."

"Good," Sabrina smiled. "I think you're gonna like it."

"How are you liking classes so far?" Sabrina asked as you both sat down at a lunch table.

"I like them a lot. I think I'm really gonna like going to school here. I honestly don't think I'll miss Baxter High at all."

"Because of David?"

You nodded, looking down at your food.

"Spellman, mind if I sit here?"

You looked up, catching sight of a dark-haired warlock with a smirk on his face.

"Go right ahead."

"And who is this?" He offered you a smile as he sat down, which you returned reluctantly. Damn. He was pretty.

"This is my twin sister, Y/N."

"Lovely to meet you, Y/N. My name's Nicholas Scratch. You can call me Nick."

"Nice to meet you, Nick."

"So, how are you enjoying the academy?" You eyed Nick as he started eating, staring at you expectantly.

"I'm enjoying it quite a lot. Especially now." You smirked and started eating, ignoring your sister's look of shock from beside you.

"I'm glad. Hopefully, we'll be seeing more of each other."

You laughed as Nick nodded, smiling at you. You were currently standing outside, talking and laughing with Nick as you waited for your next class. A while had passed since you entered the academy, and you and Nick had grown close
