Everyone had heard about you. There were statues covered up of you in every covens school, ones that they didn't dare destroy but would rather not see. You were a myth that had become a legend, a story that everyone told but under the covers from girls to gossiping friends.

When Sabrina first heard about it she didn't know that her father was the other man in the story until after she learned about him. But now, looking back it was almost obvious that her blood ran in the veins of the man who had turned dark after the end of that story.

It all started in heaven, a long long time ago before even Lucifer fell. Still, under the clutches of God he may have been discarded but at least he had you to keep him company. You were his best friend, the person who without a doubt could get him to do anything.

You were there for him even when he fell from the heavens. You may have been an angel but that would never stop you from being in love with the man you knew you belonged with. You would support him until your very last day and unluckily for him, you did.

Now everyone understood this part of the story more than any other. The love that Lucifer had for you was vulnerable love, the quiet type of love. The one that would, even as the devil, learn to hold hands in silence and ask each other questions you knew the answers to just to hear the other's voice. It was such a thing that everyone just had ingrained in their mind when they were a child. The love was there.

Lucifer himself would recall that the most. The love and pain. The balance of the scales.

"Darling I don't think you should come here as often. Don't get me wrong when I say I adore you and our time but I would rather you not get caught," he whispered as he walked across his room. It was dark and dreary and nothing you had been used to when you were up in heaven but you never asked him to change it. It was his home now.

"Don't you worry your pretty little head about me. I want to see you," you told him carefully. Your white dress was such a contrast from the place you were in. You could have been spotted a mile away out in hell.

"I have to worry about you. You're the only thing the devil cares about darling," he stated. You rolled your eyes.

"I seem to remember you crying when you dropped your comb earlier," you teased. He chuckled and walked over to hug you, wrapping his arms around you protectively. You leaned into his chest from behind.

"We don't speak of that," he warned jokingly. Your laugh lit up his world.

And then everything stopped.

You went back to heaven as you did every single time. There was nothing different about that day. A normal visit.

When you went back up to heaven someone caught you coming in one of the many doors. It wasn't uncommon for angels to come and go but you had reeked of demons and you forgot to change it.

When God caught wind there was no mercy for traitors especially not ones who went after his betrayed son he had banished.

When you didn't show up the next day, Lucifer was worried. Then he caught wind from one of the demons that your body had been found on Earth, abandoned and alone obviously killed by another angel.

And he told that demon to retrieve you so that he could be alone. And scream.

He screamed at the sky, his anger had never been so bad before. He was so used to you dampening his temper that everything was going ary. Lucifer was bad sure but he had never been that ruthless.

Death upon death piled up for people when it wasn't there time and none of them went to heaven. He kept each one at hell to remind him of his mistake, letting you ever go back.

Sabrina looked at her father nowadays and saw his anger which she figured had never been stopped, not even long after you were gone. He looked like the world owes him something he would never get. All that power and you were still taken from him.

The witches sent a prayer for you every night but none were ever to talk about you to Lucifer's face. Mention of his long-departed lover would surely result in a catastrophic fate. One that would have the same end as you.
