Monday rolls around and ESPN is waiting. I get into my Mustang and I drive. An hour later, Cassie tells me that my interviewee is in my office. I open the door to my office and I see Travis sitting on my couch. We hug and I get a flashback of our first meeting. The hug ends and I head to interview Travis. It's a tough thing interviewing a great guy and old feelings begin to bubble back up. My day ends and I think about what happened. I'm in my office and I text Travis.
Text Conversation:
Hi Travis, thanks for stopping by the studio.
Hey Vanessa, you're welcome. Are you okay?
I am. To think about our relationship and how messed up things are isn't that awesome. I miss you.
I miss you too. Do you have a Penguins game to get to?
Sidney is in Pittsburgh right now.
Man that stinks. You're probably going to Pittsburgh after you get home.
Not exactly. I have a red carpet event. Speaking of the event would you like to come walk the red carpet with me?

As I end my conversation with Travis, I hear a song.

I see Travis on the red carpet with a smile on his face. My heart races and we kiss. We're back together and I can't contain my joy! A few hours later, we arrive at the after party. Rob, Tom, Danny, Jason, JJ, TJ, Drew and Patrick all congratulate us on getting back together. I can't believe it was a good night. Travis and I sit in the limo and enjoy the ride home.
