From San Jose to Denver

Sitting on the team jet from San Jose to Denver is insane. I sit near Matt and an empty seat. I'm thinking about Travis so I send a text message.
Text Conversation:
Travis, are you okay?
I am. Are you okay?
Yeah. I'm on the Penguins jet from San Jose to Denver.
Try not to get altitude sickness.
I'll try not to.
Denver is amazing.
I'm going to get some sleep.
Me too.
I rest my head on the window and I fall asleep. Sidney wakes me up and we sit in the airport in Denver. We go over a plan for the Avalanche. An hour later, we leave the airport to go to the bus. Sidney and I sit in an awkward silence. I turn on my music and a song plays.

After we get to the hotel, Sidney and I get our room assignments. We're not roommates but I'm okay with that. I grab my phone and I text Rob.
Text Conversation:
Gronk, I'm in Denver with the Penguins.
I'm in Tampa with the Patriots.
Are you playing the Buccaneers?
We are. It's so beautiful here. The Bruins are playing the Lighting later on.
Are you going to the game?
Yeah.
I'll be on a flight from Denver to Saint Louis.
The Penguins have you flying with the team to the games?
Yes. Sidney and I are still friends. We have three games left in the six game road trip then we fly back to Pittsburgh and Los Angeles respectively. Then I fly back to Pittsburgh for a three game home stretch with the Penguins.
You also have the Battle of Kansas City.
What?
The Royals and Chiefs decided to walk a mile In each other's shoes.
Patrick is going to be a great pitcher.
Yeah he is.
I have to get some sleep.
