San Jose

Sitting on the bus is impossible. I grab the seat next to Kris and Matt. We start talking about the games the Penguins have in Pittsburgh. An hour later, the entire team is sleeping. I'm so awake I group chat Travis and Rob.
Group Chat:
Guys, are you awake?
We are now. It's 12:00 AM what's up?
I can't sleep. I tried everything.
Did you pull some pranks on the team?
I don't pull pranks when I get sleepy, Travis!
The Penguins are on the bus going to San Jose.
What are you suggesting, Rob?
I think you should play Baby Shark.
I need to sleep not annoy the team.

Cuddling something always comforts me whenever I miss you.

How did you get my college jersey?
I saw it in the dryer right before you left but you put a note on it that said keep it.
I was doing my packing for that day and my college jersey was in a dark load. I forgot to take it out of the dryer. It's in better hands then sitting in a closet. I'm so thankful that you're the one carrying it.
I know how much your jersey means to you. Sometimes I watch classic movies in the jersey.
Aw that's romantic.
It's because I miss Travis, Rob. Sometimes when I get annoyed with our traveling, I put on a movie.
What movie are you planning on watching?

As I put The Devil Wears Prada on my phone, Kris wakes up and races to the bus bathroom. Matt looks up at me and noticed his team mate. I look at the goaltender with worry. Kris sits down looking pale. I freak out and I go to Sidney. I shake the captian awake and he tells me to sit with him. An hour later we deuced, Kris came down with a gnarly cold. I tell Matt we leave the bus and check in the hotel. The team worries about Kris. The best thing is the support. The next day, it's game day and Kris isn't better. I freak out as the team goes to SAP Center for morning skate. I look at the team and I go to interview Sidney. I sit in the suite and I get worried. I text Travis.
Text Conversation:
Yo!
Yo!
You okay?
Yeah. You okay?
No. I'm in San Jose worried about you.
I wish you were here. How was the bus ride?
Awful. Kris got sick!
Is it bad?
Kris is in the hotel resting. He felt awful.
What if it's something contagious?
It's a cold they are but Kris is safe. It's not that big of a deal he'll get better by the time we fly from San Jose to Denver. 
You're right. Are you interviewing any one?
Nope. I'm in the suite. Sidney looks off his game.
Patrick is off his game.
When a quarterback and center are off the game something is up.
It could be a shift! It happens when a change is in the air.
I don't know what it is but it can't be good.
I have to go but we'll figure it out.
