A week later, I get invited to a wedding not only as an attendant but as the wedding singer. I absent mindlessly text someone.
Text Conversation:
I got invited to a weeding.

I wish the wedding was ours.

We say our goodbyes and I go to the Sunset Strip. The Viper Room is the bar I go to. I'm on a stool waiting for Rob and Tom. I see the empty stage and I approach it. My heart aches and I sing a song.

I see Travis sitting on a stool and I run out of the Viper Room crying. Rob sees me and I get into his car. I send a text message to Tom.
Text Message:
Hey Tom, I just saw Travis at the Viper Room and I left crying. I'm with Rob so don't worry about us. We're on our way to another bar.
After the text gets sent I have another conversation with Travis.
Text Conversation:
Travis, what were you doing at the Viper Room?
I was waiting for Patrick, Vanessa.

No. Was I supposed to?

I sit in Rob's car and the he drives me home. A few hours later, I walk downstairs to get to the wedding. The limousine is huge. My thoughts get interrupted by Travis sitting next to me. I'm so proud of the amazing friendship I have with him. I grab my phone and text Rob.
Text Conversation:
Hey Rob, I'm on my way to the wedding.
Hey Vanessa, I got invited to a party with my entourage.
Don't go Vincent Chase at the party.
I won't besides I have a meeting.
Are you in California?
Yeah. I just wanted a break from Boston.
I see. I'm with Travis in the limousine.

The conversation ends as Travis and I arrive at a backyard. I look forward to the reception. The house looks amazing and I talk to the band. I get the first dance song. I breathe deep and practice. An hour later, I take my seat and wait. The bride looks so beautiful and I wipe my tears. I hear the groom say his vows and I realize that Travis and I are at Matt's wedding! I smile at the goaltender and he smiles back. After the ceremony, I get ready for the song. I breathe when I get a text message.
Text Message:

I take the stage as the newlyweds enter. I sing.

I sit down while the speech part happens. The wedding is going smoothly and I feel great. I get ready for the bridal bouquet toss. I look at the bouquet in my hand. The wedding ends with the entire party singing.
