Karen and Helen had taken me to the room like before. It was a fairly big room, but had very tiny windows and only one door. It was sort of like a safety room, but instead of having a steel door and steel bars on the windows, I had werewolves protecting me.

In the room with me, there was Karen and Helen, of course, but there were also three other werewolves. They were all male, very large, and adults. I was finding it weird that these werewolves looked to be in their twenties and thirties, and yet they were led by an eighteen year old alpha. Did they find it annoying to be bossed around by someone much younger than them? And if not, why?

Unlike yesterday, I could actually hear the war going on outside. There were loud roars and growls, some sounded pained, others frightening. Sometimes, I thought I could even feel the building shake from a booming roar.

"Are you okay, Willow?" Helen asked, and like my others answers from before, I just nodded.

At the moment, we were safe. No one was attacking us, and I could tell that werewolves hadn't even gotten onto the dorm grounds. But what I was worried about is the other people who were in the building and not fighting. They were mostly children and pregnant women, so where were they?

The room was eerily quiet, and I didn't want to disturb the atmosphere, but I just had to ask. "Where are the other people?" I asked out loud to anyone.

Karen answered. "We've made sure to keep them in a safe room as well. They're being guarded at the moment too."

I just nodded my head and the silence went back to normal. The werewolves were in front of me, so all I could see were their backs. Karen and Helen sat by my sides and I looked at Karen to see that she was looking outside the small windows with a worried and yearning face. Helen was twirling a strand of hair around her finger and staring blankly at the walls.

They must be worried about their mates. Well...Dominic wasn't necessarily Helen's mate...but I couldn't help but him as that to her.

Of course I was worried about Trey as well. But he was strong, according to Karen, stronger than what I thought. I was only hoping he wasn't getting distracted thinking of me and getting hurt in the process.

And then right on cue, Trey's voice echoed in my mind.

"Willow." His voice sounded breathless.

"What are you doing?" I said, slightly startled. "You should be focusing on the war!"

"We're winning." He said and I immediately quieted down. "We're winning, Willow."

"Are you?" I slowly said, slightly suspicious.

Trey was quiet for a split second. "What's wrong?"

"It's just..." But I couldn't finish. I didn't know how to. The CMP and GMP made such a big deal out of this war, and the moon wasn't even at its highest point yet, but we were already winning? Could I really believe that, or was the BMP just playing with us?

"You're suspicious too." Trey finally said.

"Too?" I said surprised. "Then you're not sure either?"

"Of course I want us to win, Willow." He sighed. "But there's something going on." Trey took another pause before telling me, "The witch is gone. And I didn't tell you this before, but I need you to be extra careful. She's aiming for our baby...as a sacrifice."

I stiffened from the news and everyone in the room noticed, turning to me with confusion while looking around in case an enemy was nearby.

The witch wanted to take my baby as a blood sacrifice? I found myself shaking with rage just at the thought and hissed back to Trey, "Over my dead body."
