Anais' POV

Me and papa were walking back home. We had been practicing all day, and I was getting a bit sleepy. Papa was carrying me all the way home.

He was humming a tune to help me sleep faster. It was only a 15 minute walk, we made it all the way home, I wasn't asleep still, I was pretending to be asleep. I heard the door open and that's when papa stopped.

I opened one eye and saw a tall woman, tall like papa, she looked down at me and saw that I had one eye opened. She asked my dad if she can hold me, he smiled and said yes.

"Oh my little grand baby! Oh my...oh Al, since when did you have a kid?! And you didn't tell your own mother! Shame on you Al!" She scolded my father which he was smiling but I can she he was internally crying.

"Oh my sweet baby! I'm Alexandra, your grandma. You may call me Grandma Ace. You're little Anais! I'm so glad I finally met you! Oh I'm sorry, I'm blabbering! Here" she gently put me down and kissed my cheek. I've never felt so loved by a grandma.

She had medium length hair that was red with white streaks, grey skin, 1900's clothing, sharp white teeth, a soft smile, eyes almost like papas. I smiled at the woman before me. She nearly looked like papa!

"Grandma Ace?" I asked, she smiled and nodded. "I've heard so little about you! I'm sorry! Papa wasn't around to talk much about you!" I innocently said, she looked at dad angrily. "You did what?!" She yelled. Once again, papa was crying internally.

"Ma, hear me out." He then explained everything and Grandma Ace seems to understand. "That wicked witch! I'll show her! I never even liked that flapped girl!" Grandma Ace scoffed, I giggled.

"I have a new mama!" I yelled out happily, Grandma Ace looked at me suspiciously. "You don't say?" She asked, papa  rubbed the back of his head. "Anything else I should know?" She crosses her arms and looked at papa. He gulped.

Her eyes went static for a moment. "Ah! You're going to propose soon!? Oh sweetie! Why didn't you say so?! Where's the lucky girl?" Grandma Ace asked excitedly.

"There she is!" I pointed behind Grandma Ace, she turned around and smiled at Charlie. Charlie looked so confused. Grandma Ace practically ran up to Charlie and introduced herself and shook Charlie's hand.

"Oh, I-it's nice to meet you Ms.Ace" Charlie said still confused. Grandma smiled at Charlie, "Al, she's a keeper!" This made Charlie blush and Alastor smile.

Grandma Ace's POV

After introducing myself to everyone in the hotel, I went back to my grand baby. I told her all of the times I had with Alastor when he was young and alive. I also told her how I died, from a broken heart. I died because I saw my own son on the ground dead. It was very traumatic for me, I couldn't live with myself, knowing that my son wasn't normal.

He needed help, but he never wanted to be helped. He never stopped smiling, after I told him to smile even when we were both sad. His father left us with nothing. I was a singer back then, my voice was sweet as honey.

It brought us back on our feet. We survived, I retired when I became old. Alastor always wanted to be a radio host, his dream came true because of my reputation. He moved out soon enough, he'd visit me. I could always tell that he wasn't okay.

I was worried about him like any other mom. He's my son, I still love him even though he did murder all those innocent and non innocent people. To me, he's normal. I will always support him, I would never help him clean up the mess he made, no. But I would never tell the police.

I never did, I guess that's why I came down here, and because I lied for my son. And hid him from the police when he was almost caught.

"Oh wow!" Anais said in surprise, I laughed and told her a bit more about myself. Since my son seemed to be busy to not tell her about me. It's all good.

"Well, I'm glad I got to meet you Grandma Ace!" Anais squeaked our, "Same goes for me child, I'm ecstatic to be able to be with my family and my soon to be daughter in law!" I meant every word.

Mimzy was a horrible mother, she was always gone. She left my poor baby alone so many times. I'm just glad we don't ever have to deal with her agains. "Hey grandma, can you sing me a song?" Anais asked me, I smiled and nodded.

"Anything for you." I started to sing a sweet song, in hopes to make Anais fall asleep. It was already late and I need her asleep. I sang her a song from my first album, a hit.

She feel asleep after a few minutes, Anais feel asleep, her head rested on my lap. I gently picked her up and placed her on my bed. I got my own room at the hotel. Free of charge, may I add. I kissed Anais' forehead and took off my heels.

I then got on the bed and closed my eyes.

What a night! Wow, I missed my baby Anais! It's been years since I've held her. I only saw her when she was a little baby. Conceived on earth but born in hell. Interesting.

"I love you grandmama, goodnight." A tiny voice said, I looked at Anais and smiled, "Goodnight my grand baby, I love you too. See you in the morning!" I said as I just laid there closing my eyes once again.
