Last Day

Anais was in her room, dressing to get out. You see, it's her last day in Hell and she doesn't want to leave. Not after her rekindling her relationship with her father, and realizing she's slowly falling in love with a demon.

Oh my goodness, she's falling in love with a demon?! She looked up and started to flush, she did like a demon, Jack. She knows so little of him, and he's a demon. How would that work? She asked herself that many times for the past 10 minutes.

She groans and sighed heavily. "I don't want to leave!" She yelled in her pillow, muffling her yelling so no one can hear her.

She got up and got herself ready, she wore a white modest dress and put her reddish brown hair in a bun. She had her bangs swept to the sides and had one strand of hair on each side, joining with her swept bangs.

She goes out side and bumped into something big. She looked up and sees Jack. She nervously smiles and turned red. "Hi." She waves awkwardly, Jack looked down at her and smiled and waved back.

"I thought that you were dead." He joked, she shook her head. "Angels can't die." She said while sliding away from his towering body.

He follows her and whistles. "So, how are you feeling?" Jack asked, Anais pursed her lips and thought for a bit.

"Good. Maybe I'll visit next time." She glances over at him. He nods and they proceed in awkward, to Anais, silence. "Will you-" Jack got cut off by a tall spider demon.

"Anais!" Angel yells and runs over to her and hugs her. She couldn't pat his back since she was only 5'7 and Angel was 8'0. He was like a giant to her, "Hey." She smiled up at her best friend.

"Can angels and demons text each other?" He asked curiously, Anais put a finger on her lips and thought for a second, "Maybe?" She shrugs with a smile.

"I'm going to miss you, girlie." Angel goes down on a knee, "Don't call me girlie, that's weird." Anais says with another sweet smile. "Noted." Angel said while bringing her in with another hug.

"Alright I gotta go. Vaggie texted me, you know how she used to be." Angel said while looking at his phone, Anais looked at him confused. "Used to be?" She asks, Angel looked at her and responded, "Well...she quit ever since you left to Heaven when you were a kid...."

"Oh. Well, tell her I said hi." Angel nods and walks away. "Anais—" Jack was cut off again but by another demon, Alastor. "Good evening." He smiled and nods his head at the two.

"Good evening." Anais replied back, she looked at Jack who glared at Alastor. "What's wrong?" She asked, Jack looked at her and shook his head, "It's nothing. I have to go, I'll see you on your departure." He said to her and winked at her.

Anais watches as Jack walked away in the same hall Alastor walked at. She tilted her head when his figure grew smaller. She shrugged her shoulders slightly and walked around, she looked at a clock nearby, 2:56 PM

She internally died inside and lets out a small and quite sigh. She was not nearly ready to leave, she thought for a moment and walked to her siblings room.

She walked up to the door and knocked on the wooden red door, "Come in." A voice said from behind the door. Anais opened it and sees her younger siblings playing video games, still in their pajamas.

"Hey guys." Anais said, leaning on the door frame. They both paused the game and turned around and smiled at the sight of their older step sister. "What's up?" Alexander asked, Anais thought for a bit and walked close and sat down on Elizabeth's bed.

"Well, I wanted to check up on you both, how are you two? Did dad talk to you?" She asked them, they turned to each other and then at her, they nod and smile, "We all apologized about everything. For our shitty behavior towards him and he apologized for not being available as much."

Anais nods and they all proceed to talk until the clock hit 3:20 PM, Anais excused herself and leaves. She walked around and can hear Charlie talking on the phone with someone.

"Yes, thank you. I really appreciate it. Thank you, see you tomorrow." She hung up and takes a deep breath. Anais knocks and Charlie lets her in.

"What was that? I'm sorry for being nosy!" Anais quickly apologized, Charlie only just giggles and says it was fine. "I was on the phone with my parents doctor, don't tell Al but...I'm expecting." Charlie clasped her hands together.

Anais's eyes sparkle, "Really?" She asked, Charlie nods, "I'm having the same symptoms I had when I was pregnant with Alexander and Elizabeth."Charlie adds.

Anais nods and they both started to have a conversation of their own. They stayed in Charlie's office for an hour. It was now 4:20 PM

"How do you feel about your last day?" Charlie asked, Anais looked at her and furrowed her eyebrows in a sad way. She shook her head, "Not well.." her voice sounded sad and disappointed.

"I don't want to leave when I have my family here. Up there it's just me and my grandma. Down here the rest of my family is here." Anais adds, "I don't want to feel alone again. I'm the only flower angel up there."

Anais's eyes start watering, "I just feel like if I leave...everything will return back to how it was when I first came." Anais whispered to Charlie.

A tear drop fell down from her chin, "I promise I'll be back." She tells Charlie. She nods and rubs Anais's back. "I know you will."

"Do you have to leave already?" Nifty asked Anais, Anais kneeled down and nods. "Sadly." She tried smiling at her small demon friend. "This has been very fun, it's also been a roller coaster." Anais tells everyone.

"Maybe I'll see one of you on the other side." She shrugs her shoulders. They all nod, they all can hear a sniffle coming from behind the hotel crew.

They turned around, Anais tried peaking by going on her tippy toes, they see a grumpy old demon cat crying. "What? I-I'm not fucking crying. I have something in my fucking eye!" Husk yelled at everyone. Everyone laughed and comforted Husk.

They all turned back around to see a bright light beaming on Anais. "Well, I think that's my cue to go." She softly tells everyone.

"We'll miss you bitch!" Angel yelled after Anais, who was floating up, she had hid her wings since they bothered her sometimes.

She looked down and waved. The light immediately disappeared along with Anais, she was no longer in hell anymore.

She was in Heaven, she opens her eyes and sees her grandma smiling at her. "Sweetie! How was your trip?" She asked, Anais smiled and walked up to her grandma.

They both stand there in the garden and Anais talked about all what happened down in Hell with her family and friends.

(A/n): Hi, yes I am back. Such a short hiatus right? Anywho, I think I have regained my inspiration for the story. I have a feeling I have finally found what I'm going to make this story of.

The first was obviously more of the abuse of Anais, we see her having to face troubles with her mother, Mimzy, trying to get her back.

I don't know if I told you all this but Anais died as a baby, she died in a burning house of Alastor and Mimzy.

Alastor our of the killed Mimzy, the two were not married. More like a couple who had a baby together.

The second part is going to be Anais falling in love with a demon, she finds out all these and was about to leave hell, I won't spoil it for you but you'll just have to wait!

I will post every twice a week. (Maybe)
