A whole week passed, and there wasn't a single sound from upstairs. Maybe the lack of sleep had caused him to believe that he was hearing things. Maybe that boy had been right..maybe it was the wind. But Yoongi couldn't believe it. He couldn't. Wind couldn't cause loud, obnoxious noises for ten days in a row. It didn't even snow once those ten days. The weather had actually been bearable for Yoongi. But he was thankful that it was over. Yoongi felt as if he'd gotten more sleep in the past week than he had since moving in.
He couldn't help but wait up some nights, wondering if the sounds would start up again. As he laid awake in bed, staring up at the ceiling, he thought about the mystery boy. He hadn't meant to startle him, he felt kinda bad about it. Yoongi couldn't deny that he was attractive. He couldn't get those soft brown eyes out of his mind. They reminded him of warm tea with too much milk, and was sweet to taste.
He felt like an idiot. He could have handled that more delicately and now the pretty boy was scared of him. He was going to have to apologize to him soon otherwise he'd never get the chance to make things right.
It was almost one thirty in the morning when Yoongi crawled into bed that night. He'd been working late on some demo tracks that need to be in by the morning. He listened quietly for any sort of sound. When nothing happened, he fell into a deep slumber.
