Something is off. It's quiet when Yoongi arrives back home. It's early still - he left work early today, and unlike the usual noise that fills his apartment when he returns home, he's greeted by an eerie silence.
He dropped his things by the door, and immediately went to his bedroom, sighing in relief when he noticed Jimin was lying on the bed. What was off though, was that he was bundled up in a pair of Yoongi's sweats and an oversized sweater. Yoongi furrowed his brows. It was pretty hot outside, so it baffled him as to why Jimin felt the need to swear such heavy clothing. As he shuts the door behind him quietly, realization hits him.
He's hiding.
Not hiding in the sense that he thinks someone is going to find him, but hiding his body away under the bagginess of his clothing. He sauntered over to the bed, and knelt down on the mattress.
Feeling the bed dip beside him, Jimin opened one eye. Yoongi was smiling at him softly as he swung his legs over the younger's body, straddling him. He rested his hands on either side of his head as he now hovered over Jimin. "Hi pretty boy," Yoongi murmured, kissing the tip of his nose. Jimin flushed.
"Hi," he whispered back with a soft smile. Yoongi moved to kiss his cheek.
"Don't get me wrong, I love when you wear my clothes angel, I think you look absolutely adorable, but is there any particular reason why you're wearing such a heavy sweater and sweats in the middle of June when it's like a million degrees out?" Yoongi's trying not to sound harsh about it. He just wants to get to the bottom of why Jimin feels like he can't show off his body.
"Don't feel..." Jimin began, but then trailed off as his face twisted into frustration as he searched for the right words.
"Don't feel what baby?" Yoongi questioned in a softer tone.
"Don't like my body," Jimin mumbled quietly. It sounded cruel, but there were days where he didn't feel comfortable in his own skin. Didn't like the way he looked. "Don't feel pretty," he added.
"What do you mean you don't feel pretty?" Yoongi asked, confusedly. Had he not done a good enough job in making Jimin feel loved? "Was it something that I said?"
Jimin shook his head rapidly in defiance. "No, god no!" Jimin replied. "It's just some days I don't feel beautiful and I hate my body," he mumbled. He turned his head so that he didn't have to meet Yoongi's gaze. He knew what his expression would look like. His eyes would be filled with sadness, and disappointment.
"Jimin, you're beautiful," Yoongi whispered, dipping his head and placing a delicate kiss to his shoulder. "You absolutely stunning, I wish you could see that,"
"It's hard..." he mumbled again. "I don't feel beautiful,"
Yoongi made a face. He shifted above Jimin, and hooked a finger under his chin, forcing him to look at him. He kissed him once, lingering between tenderness and passionate, and let his hands trail down to his waist. He slowly inched the sweater up his torso to the point where he could make out the waistband of his sweats. "Well I think you look beautiful," he whispered. "-will you let me show you just how beautiful you are?"
Jimin could feel his cheeks heating up as he nodded, timidly reaching up to wrap his arms around Yoongi's neck. He pulled him back down for a kiss. Their kiss was soft, loving, and cautious. Yoongi was testing the waters - seeing just how far Jimin was willing to go. He continued to slowly inch his sweater up his chest, up until the point that he could take it off. Jimin sat up and lifted his arms up so Yoongi could remove it. His eyes raked hungry down his torso, taking in his defined abs, and the ink marking up his side. He can remember the day exactly, when they wandered around the city at two-three in the morning and ended up in that tattoo parlour. Jimin had made him hold his hand the entire time, but it had been so worth it, because it looked so pretty against his skin. Yoongi licked his lips as he dragged a finger up Jimin's side, and over the rose tattoo, causing the younger to shiver slightly under his touch. Jimin swallowed the lump in his throat, and brought a hand up to tug on Yoongi's shirt. "Off," he whispered.
