Yoongi decides to visit home for a few days.

It's weird to be back, because he knows he won't be staying forever. He'll be going home after a week, and back to his new normal, but nonetheless, he's happy to be back amongst familiarity.

He continues to take the bus to work, which is almost a new adventure for him.

It's not an adventure because he knows most of the route. He knows what to expect when they pull away from the bus stop, and he likes the nostalgic feel. He'll pass through a quaint section of the city where he'll pick out the best Ramen house and his favourite music store growing up as a kid. The old woman who normally does her shopping is still there, and gets on when they round the corner. She's not alone today. There's a young girl with her, her granddaughter perhaps? He knows that they'll pass by the elementary school, and the park. It's filled with kids. He knows that when they cross the bridge, it's another five stops till they reach his old high school. The stone building stands tall as they pass. It hasn't changed at all. It still looks as menacing as ever - an institution as Yoongi liked to call it. It felt like a prison most days. He doesn't really miss being there. There were a few teachers that he did like, and the music room was where he spent most of his time, but he's glad he doesn't have to go back. This is where the adventure begins.

Yoongi doesn't doesn't get off at his regular stop. He stays glued to his seat, although the habit is hard to break. He almost rose to get off, but reminded himself that he was going to work. Not to school. He's surprised to learn that the bus takes him through the port area of the city. He doesn't feel like he's in the city as they drive through, and he probably would have forgotten if it weren't for the city looming in the distance on the other side of the bay. He turns his head away from the window to peer out the window on the far side, taking in the aesthetic. It looked like he'd been transported to a seaside village - the kind you see on the front of a postcard. Houses were the colour of pale yellows, muted oranges and red, soft blues that matched the summer sky. Everything seemed a little more rustic, and old, nothing like the city where everything was new - shiny and clean monstrous buildings that rose out of the ground and consumed you in metal and glass, and neon lights. Yoongi liked this view. He should come home more often.

But once over the bridge, the excitement of the adventure is over, and he's back to familiarity with the hustle bustle of the city, and the never ending excitement, where nobody rests and they've all got places to be. It hurts his head, so he pulls his hood up over his head to drown them all out.
