By the time Yoongi finishes his work, it's two o'clock in the morning. He's not tired though, thanks to the two cups of coffee and the energy drink he downed almost an hour early, so he's absolutely wired.

What surprises him is that he can hear Jimin shuffling about upstairs as he wanders from his studio and into the kitchen for a late night snack. He doesn't know what Jimin could possibly be doing up at this hour of the night.

Yoongi shoved his phone in his pocket and wandered out of the kitchen. He's pushing open the door to his bedroom when he realizes that the rain has stopped. He slid open the back door and stuck his head outside. It was muggy out. Like the uncomfortable kind of warm that makes you feel sweaty and sticky if you stand outside for just a minute. Anything past that is unbearable. He shut the door and stumbled back out into the living area. He shoves his feet in his boots, and grabs his wallet off the counter.

He doesn't need a jacket for once as he stumbled up the stairs to Jimin's level. He knocks loud enough for the younger to hear. Jimin's at the door in no time, pulling it open. "What did you miss me or something?" Jimin teased, pushing a hand through his hair. Yoongi smirked.

"Go get dressed," he said in a low voice.

"What's wrong with what I'm wearing now?" Jimin questioned, looking down at himself. He was wearing sweatpants and a long sleeve.

"Because it's really warm out right now, and you'll overheat,"

"Oh? Are we going somewhere?"

"Of course,"

"Alrighty then, give me a second,"

He's leaning against the rail, already feeling the heat get to him. He's only in a tank top, but he's wearing jeans and he has his flannel tied around his waist. He doesn't need it but he's too lazy to put it back in the apartment. When Jimin finally returned, Yoongi swallowed the lump in his throat. He's wearing all black - something he'd thought was completely out of the norm for Jimin. His t-shirt is tight fitting, and his jeans have more tears than his do. And yeah, there's a good chance that he was staring at his ass a little bit too, but he quickly pulled himself together when Jimin ran a hand through his hair. He held his hand out for him to take.

"Where are we going?" Jimin asked.

"That all depends. Car? Or bus?"

"The bus,"

"Then we'd better hurry,"

They'd almost missed the bus, and like before, they were both out of breath as they hoped on. Jimin's leaning against one of the poles and Yoongi is towering over him as he breathes in heavily. He feels trapped between Yoongi and the pole, but he's too busy focusing on the older's lips to give a damn. He inhales deeply, staring up at him with lust filled eyes. He's so incredibly attracted to Yoongi that sometimes he can't think straight.

Yoongi let's one hand go from the pole above their heads, and threads his fingers through Jimin's hair. His hair is soft, and oh so fluffy. Jimin leans into his touch, his cheek coming to rest against his palm. "How are you real?" Yoongi whispered. It was an odd thing to whisper to someone on a bus, but Yoongi sucked at timing and he sucked with words, so it was fitting for him.

Jimin flushed.

"I could ask you the same thing," Jimin whispered back. Yoongi chuckled. He felt his breath hitch in his throat when Jimin wrapped his arms around his neck and pulled him closer. To steady themselves, Yoongi wrapped an arm around his waist. "Y'know, if this were a movie, this would be the part when you kiss me," Jimin added, not looking at him.

"If this were a movie, I would have already done it," Yoongi mumbled back.

"Why haven't you yet?"

"Would you hate me if I said that I'm waiting for the right moment?"

Jimin is smiling.

"No, I wouldn't,"

They rode the bus till the end of the line, and when they stepped out into the night it was dead silent. Yoongi grabbed Jimin's hand and tugged him down the dimly lit street. It was quarter to three in the morning and he'd never felt so alive.

There wasn't anything to do, everything was pretty much closed, but getting to be alone with Jimin in the city in the ungodly hours of the morning made him feel invincible. They wandered around dark alleyways, ran across bridges, and ended up in a park just as the sun came up. They sat on the swings, talking about their high school years. Jimin didn't have too many stories, he, Taehyung and Jungkook didn't do much when they were in school unless you counted sleepovers and going to the movies, so Yoongi entertained him with tales of his youth, and how Hoseok had almost ended up with neon green hair, and that one time Namjoon broke the door handle to a classroom.

When they'd had enough sitting, Yoongi got up and chased Jimin around the park like a child, and Jimin ran away from him, but Yoongi was faster than he was, and tackled him into the grass. They laid there for some time afterwards, catching their breath. There were only a few stars left as the sun began to rise. Only one or two and they'd all gone, Yoongi helped Jimin off the ground, and they wandered towards the nearest bus stop to head home. They were both feeling a little tired now.

"It's so peaceful in the morning," Jimin whispered as they wandered down a main street. "There's nothing opened and nobody is about,"

"Nobody but us," Yoongi joked. "And well, them," he added, pointing to the one place that was open. Yoongi's smirking then, and when Jimin notices what kind of place it was, he's shying away.

"Yoongi no," Jimin said.

"Why not?" he prompted with a wicked glint in his eyes. "We're being spontaneous!"

"We are so not going in there,"
