Yoongi is running late.
Now, he knows that he could just drive to work, but he saw Jimin leave to catch the bus so of course the hopeless romantic in him decided to chase after him. He's out of breath when he gets on, but he immediately picks out Jimin. He's the only person on that morning. None of the regulars are there. He flops down next to Jimin with a breathless smile.
"How come you don't drive to work?"
Oh shit he knows.
Yoongi shrugged.
"I like the routine...plus it helps with inspiration,"
"Inspiration for what?"
"My music,"
"You write music?"
"In my free time, yes"
"Then what do you do for work?"
"I work at a record label and produce music,"
"Whoa. That's impressive,"
"Is it?"
"Yeah! Way cooler than where I work,"
"What do you do?"
"I work in a diner,"
"Is it a cool diner?"
"Kinda? If you're into Elvis...it's got an oldies vibe to it. You feel like it's the 50s in there,"
"That's really cool,"
"It is?"
"Yeah, it's unique...are you in school?"
"Yeah, I'm a dance major at the university, but I'm taking a year off to save up some extra cash,"
"I have a friend in dance. He currently teaches at a studio,"
"What style is he?"
"Mostly hip hop, you?"
"Contemporary,"
"So ballet?"
"No, it's not as strict. Are you in school?"
"Nope. I skipped that part and went straight to the workforce,"
"Can I ask how old you are?"
"I'll be 21 next month,"
"Oh, you're my hyung. I thought you were younger,"
"Do I look young to you?"
"A little bit yeah,"
"How old are you Jimin?"
"I'll be 20 in October. What day is your birthday?"
"The 9th...that makes you a baby,"
"No it doesn't!"
"I'm only teasing. What day is yours?"
"The 13th,"
