Another two weeks go by before Yoongi has the chance to apologize to his pretty neighbour. He had just pulled into the parking lot and was climbing out of his car when he spotted the younger walking past, clutching a rather large brown, paper grocery bag in his arms. Yoongi finds him adorable. He's bundled up in an oversized coat - like he'd borrowed it from a friend of his, because he is drowning in it, and he's wearing fluffy pink earmuffs. He quickly shut his car door in a way that wouldn't startle him. "Hey!" he calls out, hoping to catch his attention. It works, because as he trudged through the snow, careful not to slip on the ice, he turns around and acknowledges him. He offers up a warm smile, showing him that he's not a threat, but it doesn't help him relax. "I um..." Yoongi had never been good words, and with the way the boy is staring at him, he knows he won't be any good right now. He's still as gorgeous as the last time he'd seen him, and Yoongi is blown away by his beauty.

"..."

"I wanted to say I was sorry," Yoongi finally managed to get out. Again, the younger seemed taken back.

"I'm sorry?"

"I wanted to say I'm sorry," he repeats, one arm coming up to awkwardly scratch at the back of his neck. "I didn't mean to frighten you that night, it was rude of me to do so,"

"Oh," the boy's expression changed, and his once tense posture relaxed almost instantly.

"Could we start over?" Yoongi asked, with a hopeful expression. "Hi, I'm Min Yoongi, and I your apartment is just above mine,"

He can feel his heart stopping when the boy gives him a soft smile back.

"Hi, I'm Park Jimin, and your apartment is under mine,"

hi! if you're reading this, congrats! this is a brand new chapter that wasn't in the original version!

i'm so excited to be writing this story, and honestly, I've missed writing smaller chapters, although not all of them will be incredibly short.
p.s. if you've read the boy next door by yours truly, you'll noticed that this book follows the same writing style - in which chapters are short, and don't focus on every little detail. things may seem repetitive and I'm sorry if it feels like I'm jumping around a lot with the dates.

I hope you guys enjoy this story just as much as I will have writing it!
