Hey guys,

Sorry for the delayed updated. I was caught up with some college work.

Thank you everyone who have voted and shared your views on my previous chapters. I really appreciate them ❤

Vikrant's POV

This morning when I took Arushi to my favourite spot in Lonavla she stood there agape. For a long while she stood silent and I stood beside her staring at both the beauties that lay infront of me.

Whenever Arushi is with me I always have this wiered feeling of getting more close to her. But I wonder If she would be comfortable with the proximity.

When the sun rays were falling on her face making her glow like never before I couldn't resist my feelings anymore. Hesitantly I went ahead and stood behind her with just a few centimetres distance almost like back hugging her. She flinched a bit but did not resist later.

There is something that is making me more attracted towards her. All my life where I thought being alone was the best silence anyone could get she surely is changing those thoughts of mine. Her presence around me gives me a better silence and a better comfort than what I had being alone.

All of us were seated in the lawn planning of playing a cricket match now because there was nothing much to do for the day. Since there were not many people we made small teams of 5 each and Dadu was decided to be the umpire.

My team had Rahul, Nidhi, Rajat Uncle, Payal bhabhi who was Arushi's brother Sidhant's wife and ofcourse Me.

The other team headed by Sidhant bhai had Arushi, Naina, Mahima and Dad.

And trust me its clear enough right at this moment that my team would win. There was no bowler in our college days or in our friends circle who could break the partnership of me and Rahul.

I wonder if Arushi has ever played Cricket because as the stereotype says Cricket is a boys game...but it seriously is not.

"Bhabhi I hope you are ready to get clean bowled right in the first ball. Vikrant was the best player in our college." Rahul said teasing Arushi when she came out to bat first along with her brother Sidhant.

"Rahul you better ask Vikrant to be careful of what comes ahead...because...." Arushi cut-off Sidhant's line and said.

"Bhai actions speak louder than words...its better they see it right?" She said those lines staring at me with a challenging smirk.

Though I did not want her to be out right in the beginning that smirk made me throw the fastest ball I could have thrown.

Holy Shit. The ball flew up the sky and landed beyond the boundary that was marked. Freak it was a 6. I stood there shocked at the non strikers end when Sidhant bhai whispered in my ear.

"This is what I warned you about... Best of luck." he giggled.

When everyone including the umpire started cheering Arushi....Rahul stuttered.

"It was just a trial ball...Vikrant would surely not want to play tough right in the beginning...he will throw his best ball now."

Bro that was my best...what else could have I thrown.

The match proceeded and half the time the ball was in the air. The brother-sister duo were really so good at this. Now I know why was Arushi Sidhant's first pick for his team.

As the match ended with obviously Arushi and team winning it Rahul spoke like a real dumpster.

"Bro be careful after your marriage...Bhabhi might throw you out of the house thinking you are a ball."

It was audible enough for everyone to laugh at us and to make Arushi blush.

After dinner everyone went back to rest as tomorrow was a big day. Surely a big one for me. We will officially be engaged. Arushi is surely a miracle that has come by my way. I am happy that I trusted Dadu and went ahead with this alliance otherwise I wouldn't have been lucky enough to get such a beautiful soul in my life.
