Vikrant's POV(past)

"Vikrant we must leave for the function in an hour and you havn't come back yet...When are you coming?" mom almost screamed on call.

I had come to the dance studio for a final rehearsal before I performed I was very nervous. It was literally like I would get a panic attack.

"I am coming in 10min mom dont worry...See you soon" I said and ended the call.

"You'll rock it bro dont worry" Rahul said trying to reduce my nervousness.

"Hopefully...see you at the venue I'll leave now before mom kills me"

I reached home and as expected mom and naina started yelling at me for being so late. I couldn't help I wanted the performance to be perfect so I had to rehearse one last time atleast.

I hurriedly took a shower and got dressed for the sangeet.

As we reached the banquet hall we were welcomed by Sharma uncle and aunty which meant that Arushi was already here.

As I walked in I found Arushi standing with Nidhi and Mahima. She looked drop dead gorgeous in her blue gown.

Even before I could walk towards her Naina literally ran towards her and hugged her as though she would choke her to death. I love the way Arushi has bonded so well with my family in such a short span of time.

I walked towards her with my eyes not leaving her eyes even for a second. Her eyes questioned me as though asking me how she looked I just blinked in affirmation and she turned all pink. All of this din't go unnoticed by Naina and Nidhi.

"A little over 24hours guys you'll get the official license to romance even infront of everyone. You will not need this eye to eye thing. So just control" Naina said as I reached them.

Arushi was a complete tomato by now and I was no less. The three girls stood their laughing their asses off.

The function began in full fledge. Everyone were enjoying and giving their performances. As the time was passing my hands started sweating a lot because of tension.

As it was almost time for my performance I excused myself from Arushi and went backstage.

"All set bro....just kill it" Rahul said and went on the stage to announce my performance. I just want to see Arushi's reaction when she see's me on stage. Rahul made the announcement and it was time to go.

I was on stage dancing off my steps but my eyes wouldn't leave Arushi. She was jumping and squealing like a child. All my efforts were paid off seeing her all happy and smiling.

When the performance ended I could see how shocked, happy and surprised she was. I couldn't wait to get back to her. I went to the green room to freshen up a little because I was all sweaty.

"Nice performance Vikrant but I wish it was for me" I saw Natasha seated on the sofa when I walked out of the washroom.

"It will never be for you" I said completely ignoring her presence.

"O really but I will make sure you will be mine if not for the performance." she said laughing like a witch.

"I will never be yours....Arushi is my life and my heart belongs to her"
